Have you looked at the article on the website and seen the picture???

Without asking the club directly, I'm as close to certain as I can be that those seats being taken "out of use" is just during the period of restricted capacities, as and when that happens.

Now I appreciate that it is an archive picture from the Chelsea friendly but if they have added in a few seats, why have some people got a seat seemingly a long way from their original season ticket seat?

If I'm one of the lucky ones to get a seat to see a game this season, I really don't care where it is, the last thing I'll worry about is whether it's my usual ST seat or not.

I really don't think they have "added any extra seats".

They still have to comply with the rules for the maximum number of seats a given seat can have between it and the nearest aisle.

Thanks, I appreciate we will be moved around during these times but it would be good PR from the club if they confirmed that we retain our original seats when we're back to normal.

So why change them then? Pretty certain everyone knows that if you are lucky to get a ticket in the ballot it isn't going to be your seat and if you get to go to more than one match your likely to be in different seats.

It's so the number on your seat matches the chip in your vaccine:)

If I recall, wasn't there chat about a seat number being turned into seat 'a' and 'b' thus adding a column.
Chatting recently with a worker at the club, apparently lots of seats have been squeezed in.
But if a seat is being taken out of use, as per picture, then we are all being moved over by that many seats. I'm 30 more which puts me nearer a goal rather than my expensive half way line seat.

Now I'm worried as we must sit quite near each other! All depends which row you're on.

I can't see the info in there either, have they now removed it?

However I did see that you can now scan through the turnstiles with your phone rather than a ticket.

MOBILE TICKETING (NFC) FAQS
Albion fans can now use Apple Wallet or Google Pay to store matchday tickets, making access to the Amex even more convenient.

When buying your tickets, select the ‘Mobile Ticket (NFC)’ option on the basket page.

What mobile devices are supported?

As long as your mobile device has an NFC chip you should be able to use it for mobile. If you use Google Pay or Apple Pay then you will have NFC.

Apple: Any iPhone 6 or above has NFC (this includes the first generation iPhone SE) and will work with NFC ticketing. Please make sure your phone has a recent version of iOS for best use.

Android: Most recent higher end Android devices have NFC. Occasionally you will have a logo printed on the phone, or it will appear in your taskbar (when switched on):

Otherwise, the best way to find if your phone has NFC is to find the settings for it on your phone.

For most devices, Google recommends finding the NFC settings by going to Settings on your device and using the search function to find NFC, it can then be toggled on from here. This will work for most recent android devices.

For full information from Google, follow this link and go to "Step 2: Find out if your phone has NFC". If this isn't working, it maybe your device is setup differently. For some of the common steps to find the settings on your phone, please click the make of your phone below.

Samsung Huawei, Xiaomi, Lenovo Oppo, Realme Motorola LG Sony

Please note: Manufacturers of android phones make changes to software regularly, so these instructions may not apply. If you find the settings are somewhere else on your devices, please let us know at supporter.services@bhafc.co.uk
How do I add my ticket to Google Pay or Apple Wallet?

Once you have completed your purchase a confirmation email will be sent to the stated email address containing a Google Pay "Save to phone" button and an Apple "Add to Apple Wallet" button. Click on the applicable link, but make sure you open these links on the device you want to load the ticket to.

Follow the on-screen instructions on your phone to add your ticket. You can add multiple tickets if someone in your party does not have Apple Wallet or Google Pay.

You can check if this process has been successful by going into your Google Pay or Apple Wallet app and going to Passes or swiping down respectively.

Each ticket can only be sent to a wallet once, so make sure you open the link on the correct device.

What do I need to do to gain access on matchday?

Firstly, please don’t forget to charge your phone before you leave for the Amex.

We recommend getting your pass ready before you get to the turnstiles. The tickets live in the bottom of the Apple Wallet or on the Passes tab of Google Pay.
If you have an Android device, you may need to turn on ‘NFC’. You will be prompted to do this when you open Google Pay.

To use your mobile ticket to access the stadium, gently circle your handset close to the contactless reader on the top of the turnstile.
If you have an Apple device, the NFC chip is likely to be on the top of the device. If you have an Android device, the chip is likely to be more central, but could be anywhere on the device, so please make a note of where it reads for future reference.

If you have a valid Adult ticket the light will turn green and you can enter the stadium. The turnstile may show other colours depending on your price type.
If the light turns red or you are unable to enter, please seek help from the nearest steward, who will be happy to help.

Don’t put your phone inside the scanner on the turnstile as this will not grant you access. The scanners are only for tickets with a barcode.

My child does not have a phone with NFC?

More than one ticket can be loaded to one phone (although each ticket itself can only be loaded once). If your child does not have a mobile device with an NFC chip, we would recommend loading their ticket to your phone.

When accessing your tickets on your mobile device, you will be able to swipe left and right between different tickets to find the correct one to scan. When approaching the turnstile please have the child's ticket ready first. Scan that ticket and let them go through the turnstile before scanning and entering on your own ticket.

No-one in my party has a phone with an NFC chip. What options do I have?

Print at Home tickets are the only other option currently available. These must be printed, as they cannot be scanned from a phone. Failure to do so may result in you not being able to access the stadium.

There is no facility to print tickets at the stadium at this time. The club will no longer be issuing tickets on club ticket stock – tickets will be available as print at home, or by loading tickets to your Google pay/Apple wallet, to reduce touchpoints and meet safety requirements.

Can everyone opt for mobile tickets?

If mobile ticketing is available, you will be able to select "Mobile Ticket(NFC)" towards the bottom of the basket page as part of the ticket purchase process. Occasionally we may be required to restrict who has access to mobile tickets, but it will be made available to as many supporters as possible.

If mobile tickets are not an option for you, there will be an option to print tickets at home. Print-at-home tickets will be emailed as PDF attachments, which can then be printed and scanned to gain access via the turnstiles.

What options do I have if my mobile device doesn't have an NFC chip

If mobile ticketing is not an option, supporters can print tickets at home. Print-at-home tickets can be sent as PDF attachments to an email, which can then be printed and scanned to gain access via the turnstiles.

Can I use my smart watch on matchday?

If you load your mobile ticket to your Apple device first, you will then also have access to your mobile ticket on your Apple Watch.

To get it ready, double-click the side button. You can then hold your Apple Watch within a few centimeters of the reader, with the display facing the reader.
