Our games very often go one of two ways bar a very rare win: we either a) play very well, get loads of praise, but concede a shitty goal or two or three and don't win, or b) play poorly, get worse and worse until it turns into an utter shambles and don't win

As much as GP has changed our style of play, I really don't enjoy watching us much at the moment because of how incredibly frustrating it is - the odd game like Newcastle aside.

A lot went wrong 2nd half. Good first half, should have scored more than a solitary goal. Plenty to work on going forwards.

I agree, and it's a positive, unfortunately when the leader has a donkey night, you're ****ed. Maybe he read the dark side of his philosophy book last weekend.

Wouldn't bet against both us and them going down this season. We have no idea how to attack and look nervous with a lead. Terrible, we even managed to make West Brom look good, not an easy feat. Call it bedwetting or whatever, but you're deluded if you don't think this isn't going to be a tough season. No passion, no fight and Potter seemed clueless in that second half.

When Lallana went off the whole team regressed 20 yards towards our own goal. We got slower and less dynamic as the subs happened and Maupay was left trudging about doing absolutely nothing. Tonight was screaming for a 2 up top, Maupay is too easy to handle when he’s on his own.

I think we are now seeing a total lack of confidence after failing to make our possession count in so many games, Worrying times, we look bereft of confidence when I expected us to push on once we took the lead, instead we tried to settle for 1-0.

We are in trouble

1-1. Very disappointing.

If there is any debate about 'one point gained' or 'two points lost' coming on, if anybody argues for 'one point gained' they are more twattish than the most deluded Leeds fan ever, or the biggest ever Palarse twunt.

That was two points lost; end of.

Agree and for once it wouldve been miles better to have Hughton as manager in the last 20 minutes that Potter who made some calamitous decisions tonight. He gave them all the advantage with terrible tactical mistakes

Missed Dunk as a leader.
Didn’t help with some strange substitutions. We needed to stretch them and Gross and McAllister weren’t going to do that. We missed Connolly coming on and doing that.
Some poor performances tonight; Bissouma, Maupay and even Lamptey wasn’t great.
Looks worrying with Spurs away coming up.

We’ve been conceding loads of avoidable, hammer blow goals with Dunk in the team.

Fecking awful. Terrible subs from Potter. Midfield was out battled and he brings on gross and alzate. Both lightweight. We would have literally stolen 3 points if they hadn’t scored

As I said at the time, the Groß for Lallana change was ****ing ridiculous and doubled the intensity of our ****ing shitness.

I am so ****ing pissed off by that performance, just in case that doesn't come across.

Not quite sure what went wrong in the second half, it looked like we were running in treacle compared to the Brom players. Hopefully they’ll get that out of their system and turn up at Spurs. On the positive side we didn’t lose, which we could quite easily have done, Dunk is a game closer to returning and it didn’t look like we picked up any injuries. It’s a shame Welbeck isn’t quite ready, I’m sure he’d have buried that first half chance that fell to Maupay.

Disappointing, frustrating but we live to fight another day.

Trossard was a passenger second half, anonymous

For the season ahead, read: last season. (but will we be so lucky?)
