I'm pretty sure I have called Saint Pat of Leeds by the same moniker the great man has previously used.

In fact...

Reports suggesting Aston Villa are ready to end Pat Bamfords Burnley hell by taking him on loan from Chelsea for the rest of the season for a £2.5m fee if the player will agree to drop down to the Championship.

Just the sort of player who can help us get over the line if one of our key strikers gets injured, hope we're looking too.

Pat B did well tonight.

In the absence of a Villa Leeds thread, that looked like championship football tonight, with one team on steroids. Tin Pot. But quite fun to watch. And anyone screaming for a policeman over PPV.....what can I say? Ways and means? ???

Mind you, it's about time the h*****l site went HD. Very poor. ???

Good old Crodo. Always knows where his arse is when he gets motivated to make an announcement.

Shouldn't have doubted you.

Nor should I have ever doubted someone that Crodo rates so highly. I'm off to buy Rylan Clark-Neal's biography now.

Just because the bloke has played against some pretty dire opposition defences so far this season, is no excuse to call him the new next best thing. Dirty may have played some attractive football thus far but they seem to have the ability to concede quite regularly. Let's see when the shiny and new of the premier league has lost its lustre for them

Leyton, E10.
I think Bamford is quite good and will get better with age.

Edit: I just learnt he scored a hat-trick tonight. Good goals. He’s a good player, seems smart, classy, technical. Good mid table striker. Reminds me of our old Glenn funnily enough.

I am pleased for the lad. He seemed to have a bit of the strutting peacock about him in his younger days but Bielsa has him working so hard. It is genuinely impressive to watch the running he does for the side. He kept getting into position to score and now he is scoring. Fair play and I really hope others look at his work rate and learn.

You're not being fair to the bloke..... I was one who genuinely thought he was a bit crap and didn't rate him, his goals yesterday were all very good and very well taken.

Credit where credits due.

Let’s hope we tighten up before we play ‘em! He’ll have a field day against our porous defence.

Took two of his goals well yesterday. Created space, quick feet and got his shots off quickly.
