Two superb takes by Sanchez - really commanded his area well. He looks huge as well!

Ref. seemed determined to play 'Big Club Time', giving Liverpool as much time as possible to equalise!

Enjoyed that. Lot of good players.

Sanders and Khadra standing out. Also thought Sanchez looked good / confident (although not a lot to do).

Miller looked good for Liverpool - bit stroppy at the end :lolol:

Yapi really impresses me every time I see him. His age comes into play with the occasional wayward ball. Normal shoutout for Sanders but Tanimowo is really getting into it. What a shame Gwargis has no pace, his positional play is excellent. Not seen enough of Khadra to drool over him yet....but seems to be enjoying himself.
It's looking good overall though, isn't it:clap2:

Pretty impressive performance. I like the look of Eneme, strong chunky hard working centre forward who holds the ball up well.

Sanchez looks a decent keeper as well. But as others have said sanders and Khadre outstanding.Wier looks good too.

Izquierdo substituted at half time, didn't notice any injury so I guess he just needs to build up slowly.

I have to say having a youth policy and set up like we have makes me more excited every year.

Great result, Liverpool will be saying 'we should be beating teams like Brighton'.

Brighton will continue to make the big boys sweat, so pleased for them all.

We have a very good team/squad. Better than Palace who sit pointless in PL2 Div 2

Yet their big boys will still get 3 points tomorrow, with one shot on target.

 already.

Yep no weak links in that team, but thought Max Sanders was superb, Khadra must be knocking on a bench place for the first team. Sanchez played one duff pass in 90 minutes otherwise great distribution and very confident.

Sanchez distribution in another League to Ryan. Shame we couldn't get him out on loan to a top championship club this season

I only watched so far and, for the last 40 minutes, as impressive as others were, Sanchez looked at an entirely different level than all other players on the pitch (we were playing Liverpool, too). You're right, his distribution is top notch, and his ability to kick it long gives another option. I think Ryan's pretty good at distribution, but lacks that long release ability that sets goalkeepers apart (Alisson, Ederson, Henderson and, er, Pickford). Sanchez oozes confidence too, and dominates the area -- that one-handed claim being the most obvious example, but there were plenty of others too.

Slightly poor from their number 2 there.. but still a lovely finish from Khadra.

A likeable lad, his Twitter game is on point also. Hope to see him improve and break into the first team squad.

Came all the way thru Dortmund's youth set up, then let go.

Had a trial at Man U at the beginning of September, but they passed on him.

I think he's feeling gratitude that we picked him up, and intends to seize this opportunity with both hands.

And our u18 won 5-0 at the Arsenal today, not bad for 'a club like Brighton.'

He seems to have got his decision making right now; he's always looked confident and always aimed to dominate his area. This was his downfall at Forest Green - initially they were delighted with him, but there were too many occasions when he thought he could come and get something when it was just too far away - resulting in a penalty; several times! They went off him a bit ...................................

Rochdale, as far as i can gather from their fans' site, were pretty pleased with him. He seems to have got his judgement right now - a couple of his come-out-and-collects were excellent today. Ready to be our number two? At the very least in with a shout, IMHO.

Too tall though ...........
