Hydroxychloroquine was reported on a BBC COVID program saying that it is reported to possibly work a day after the Trump claim. Trialing it further on frontline NHS staff who were working directly with COVID patients is testing it further because they recognised the potential already. If there was no confidence in it they wouldn't have given it to them, because that would have only offered thousands of people a false sense of security which would be criminal.

While most sensible people see the bear pit as a useful sub-forum to keep the big board a bit more fit for purpose, place to visit if you fancy a bit livelier entertainment, some see it as an opportunity to exercise the nastier sides of their personality. Racism, homophobia, bullying, stalking etc.
It’s an entertaining place for those with a thick skin but some of the less nice posters have seen it as an excuse to be thoroughly bitchy.

Firstly if you cannot remmeber the BBC and Channel 4 newsreaders referring to Assad as a Butcher and a Dog then it's going to be difficult for me to find the clips to prove that to you if you missed it in the first place. I am surprised that you missed it tbf. Maybe you were too young and didn't pay any interest at the time? You will also have to take my word on the use of "Dog" in good faith, and because I was correct on "Butcher" that "dog" was also used in the rhetoric. This was the standard.

I do not watch ITV and Sky News, or read the Daily Mail, Express, and the Sun etc But most of the media held the same standard so my issue is not just with BBC and Channel 4, they are just examples of where I noticed a strong bias and these words used.

My go to news station is Al Jazeera for world news fyi.
