Let's hope we don't get any injuries long term anyway with our two strikers otherwise we will be stinking it out again holding on for draws

Can't believe Fulham haven't come up yet.

They have ditched their exciting style for pragmatism. They don't work particularly hard either.

Was talking more this season, even so there has been more boring sides to watch than even us in the history of the prem. Stoke, Burnley and Wigan have had a few park the bus sides.

Confess I didn’t watch much PL football when we weren’t there but I’d argue that Burnley are not boring, more racist and annoying

Wigan won a Cup Final so I don’t see that we can nominate them as the most boring, I bloody loved that final

My nomination as the manager most likely to get the sack first.

It's a good shout but too much good will there I reckon. Think that West Ham will be taken over well before Christmas (US consortium said to feel quietly optimistic despite GSB rejecting their initial offer) and Moyes will be straight out of the door.

The final was great but they were quite a boring side to be fair.

For sure. And if they could maintain that level of stuff over the course of a season then they'd win over a legion of neutrals. Tho they never do. Never trouble the judges at either end of the table. Tho I guess generic mid table is a position TB would KILL for right now

I'd kill to be an established prem side like Everton to be fair. We'd never be able to make the sort of signings they do though.

Who cares? They'll more than likely finish above us. Just two seasons ago we were stinking out the PL.

I'm only bothered about the Albion.

If you don't care why comment? Other than to say Palace will finish above us which they may or may not.. Point is they are boring to watch.

Man City. Not because the football they play is poor but because they play the same way all the time.

"Oh, you've had 80% possession and won 6-0? Wow. Just like last week then."

Even so we'd still probably be one of the more exciting teams to watch. Big Dan Burn up front on the end of Solly's high crosses.

In years gone by it would have unquestionably been Stoke up to their relegation in 2018. I've had more fun at the dentist than watching them.

Today ironically I kind of find Liverpool and Man City somewhat boring just because they have been so head and shoulders above most of the rest of the division in the last few years.

I know they play lovely football, but in so many games it's like watching men against boys and the only hard part is wondering whether they're going to put 4, 5, or 6 past the opposition that week. The Cup Final of 2019 is a classic case in point with Man City v Watford. As dull as a final as you could wish for.

I felt Spurs were like this under Poch except they won most of their games by one or two goals instead of six.

Crystal Palace parked the bus against Bournemouth reserves last night.

Surely the most boring team in the top flight.. People may say Burnley or Newcastle but Palace don't just park the bus they park a Neoplan Jumbocruiser. To be fair it works for them but considering how many decent players they have going forward they still get pretty much all of there 30 goals a season through a rare counter attack or a set piece. Surprised they don't get much stick for it because when we played a similar way under Hughton we were labelled as an anti footballing side.

Anyone think that there's a team more boring?

Hodgson has made Millions in a career of bus parking.

Have you watched them in the last 12 months?

They are very different from Pulis-era West Brom.

Play quite good football, tbh.

Most teams that good up play good football in the Championship. Few retain it, often for logical reasons. And I think it will be the case with WBA. Other than Matheus who is very good, they dont really have the tools to outplay anyone. Cant blame them.

Someone you can blame for not trying to play attractive football however: Tottenham. They have the resources, the players and the quality to do well while playing nice football, but with Mourinho in charge its just not going to happen.

I wouldn't describe Burnley as boring, but they aren't enjoyable to watch. Dyche has them using every trick in the book.

Well there's established and then there's MORIBUND - which I claim as Word Of The Day btw. Imagine sticking in the same old footballing rut for about twenty-odd years. Tho fair play to them, it's an ingrained community thing, same as it is with us. Just a club that never risked stopping any other club's fans missing a beat ever. Unlike, say, Leeds United, Champions of Europe. Now there's a match to relish. It's Our Cup Final and a privilege to be able to go toe-to-toe with these BEHEMOTHS of the English game. Apparently

Careful now. We were prime candidates for that title not too long ago. Parking the bus didn’t even come close, we had a whole depot full of them.

Yeah we did but we got absolutely destroyed by opposition fans and media for doing it. Palace, Burnley, Newcastle all do it and nothing gets said.. And they all have/ had more attacking players than us.

BHA FC season 2018/19 by a fecking country mile

I remember leaving Molineux that season and in that tunnel some Wolves fans asking us how we could pay to watch that every week? All I could manage was a vague “support our local team, thick and thin” and “got the point we needed” response.
