Won’t stop the lemmings flocking there...and then throwing the empty cartons out of car and van windows onto the most beautiful stretches of countryside. McDeath should be either taxed extra for the clean up or made to send patrols out into the countryside to pick up all reported litter drops.

Not even the worst thing in chicken nuggets as standard. As my mate's ex g/f used to say "it's all beaks and arses".

You need to get yourself some provenanced meat from a local butcher, perhaps in Hangleton, washed down with a nice wine from a local specialist, perhaps based in the Poets Corner area :moo:

Stuff like this happens all the time in processed food.

happens in unprocessed, fresh food too. its a matter of probablities, given enough peices of food sooner or later some foreign body will show up.

I once found a string of cardboard in a Bernard Matthews Turkey Drummer.

I'd be more surprised to find turkey in one of those.

Years ago when I was a kid, I bit into a Waitrose jam doughnut to find it a bit 'chewy', spat it out and found I was enjoying the remnants of a blue j-cloth. Mum got a few quid compensation for that, then lo & behold a few weeks later a similar thing happened, but this time I had a piece of cardboard wrapped in plastic film in it.

Never really fancied filled doughnuts much since....

Years ago I was having breakfast in the cafe in Whitehawk Road when I found a nut in my beans. A metal nut. It had come loose and fallen off the cooker.

Surely the packaging could be instantly printed with the card details of the buyer, sufficient to identify them when the package is discarded and then found, the culprits can be identified

possible, having working in materials handling and packaging industries, you can print on the fly no problem, so an order could indeed have information added to thew packaging . . . . .

better still don't use packaging. take your own or eat in.

When I was a kid, at school, we got out daily mini milk bottle at not break. I was slurping it down merrily one day when I had an unpleasant smoky burning sensation in my throat. I took it to my teacher, she held it up and shook it and there bobbing and swirling about was a cigarette butt and ash.

Probably working!

The litter bugs would probably just rip off the bits with their card/ reg details before lobbing it out of the window.

Went to Co-op and got some freshly baked crossaints and pain au chocolates.

Bit into one and they tasted soapy.

Took them back and asked for a refund

I’m still wondering how the **** they’re included in the half price scheme thing. Surely it’s to help local pubs and restaurants etc - not multi billion pound organisations who have just spent a shit load of taxpayers money on the furlough scheme...?! So now our taxes pay for wronguns who don’t work to feed their kids shit for 3 days a week for £1! And then there’s the hypocrisy of all the government stuff in obesity and advertising to kids etc - can’t believe they are on the scheme!

We had a beautifully preserved rodent in a loaf of bread once. Bit of a put off if I'm honest.

You are the bread around it though, right?!

Many years ago I purchased a Creme Egg from the woolies in Haywards Heath. When I bit the top off there were numerous live ants crawling around inside. I went back to express my surprise to the staff, and found the wire basket container was infested with them.

Did they taste like chicken?

probably same reason we had the furlough scheme open to all business, because multibillion pound organisations employ an awful lot of staff. they are the main beneficaries of this. or we could put back on to furlough. or we could do nothing and shut down those businesses.
