not for me.

Arsenal were awful last season and couldnt get in

Starting to sound like Leeds fans talking about Ben White at Brighton tbf. We don’t know why Arteta hasn’t played him. Perhaps he’s not been training well. We seem to have the reverse issue, according to the boss everyone is ****ing great during the training sessions :)

FRUIT OF THE BLOOM
its about opportunity for young players, sure AMN gets the odd game at Arsenal, but even rarer are opportunities at Centre Mid his favoured position.

I would be delighted for him to come into our central options, and also would provide quality options in other areas should we get hit with injuries.

These aren't the players you're looking for.

If so, he has a funny way of showing it.

He played the full 90 minutes in Arteta's first 9 PL games, but then didn't play a single minute in the next 5, leading up to lockdown.

Apart from the 90 minutes AM-N played on the final day, he only played a total of 82 minutes in Arsenal's other 9 post-lockdown games.

With Arteta looking to make Dani Ceballos's transfer perminant, plus trying to sign Thomas Partey, it doesn't look like AMN is going to get those assurances he's reportedly looking for.

Arsenal need rebuilding, and dont exactly have a generous owner. They will need to free up cash by offloading fringe players.

Knowing the way our transfer dealings are generally done on the quiet, it seems all the noise from this one is coming from up the road. Possibly Arsenal trying to weed out other bidders to push the price up?

Lamptey was big for us, not has he been a huge success lots of very good young players saw he got an opportunity here. If we choose wisely and I think we will, the club have engineered a great opportunity to sign some very good young players.

I'm sure it must have happened with plenty of other clubs who are in the Albion's situation, getting a Lamptey type player, but I just can't think of any.

There's been so much positivity generated by Lamptey's transfer, thanks mainly to his performances, I don't see why players would stay at top 6 wannabes.

Hapless Gwen Dozy proved it's not about money - bless him.
Arsenal themselves are proving 'status' is temporary.

So if you can get 'everything' money, status and exposure while actually playing football, at a little club what possible reason do you have to stay at Teams Like Arsenal?

Deepest, darkest Sussex
Didn't see him recently against City then? Man of the match

While that may be true I hope we aren't planning on signing players based on good performances in individual matches.

Brighton factually.....
It means nothing, but it is a yes from me as a more versatile replacement midfield player who is young, hungry, skilful, already up to speed with the Premier League and just what we are looking for to be honest.

Sent from my place of work, whilst no one is looking.

Maitland-Niles said he credited God and his family for his football career. He also said he preferred playing on the wing, describing it as "his natural position."

Age 22. Over 50 appearances for Arsenal.

Played for England repeatedly at every age level up to U21.

And some people are turning up their noses at the very thought? ???

If he came in as LB or LWB then id say yes. But his other possible positions we're well stocked. We'd have to offload a few before bringing him in.

We can sell after buying.

And it looks like a few will have to go.

As above he is 7th fastest in the league so this fits with Potterball. The slower players will gradually go.
We've just signed two slow(ish) players ! Stephens can rest easy for now

It’s a pleasant change to buy who we want early doors, assess what we have and offload the unwanteds to the championship teams and newcomers. Leeds are probably waiting for our cast offs.
