Faded in the 2nd half. Once he masters 90mins he will be great
This is the crux . . . . Top half have players who have quicker physical pace and quicker cranial pace. LT has both, but for 45 minutes . . . . Thats good for us at the moment
We have a squad that is half and half . . .no disrespect, but Liverpool are On a different scale, as are the top 6.
He's one of our best players. Keep, nurture etc. . . .

Trossard used to go missing a bit defensively when he was used as a midfielderbut we’ve now got a system that suites him. His touch, finishing AND pace are top level.

To be fair, I very much doubt Lamptey earns more than Trossard.

Trossard made a run in the first half down the left wing, he was moving at a speed I’ve not seen him hit before, what’s that about? He definitely appears to have developed some muscle during lockdown, has this additional power given him afterburners?

This thread got really old really quick. I think my question (which even to begin with was more of 'hmm what should we do..?' rather then 'GET RID' was valid) - he's been so so for much of the season - but he has really come online the last couple of games and anything else than keeping him would be madness by now as chances are good he will keep it up.

I think he's shown flashes of what he can do for most of the season but he's had a bad injury. The post lockdown Trossard is infinitely better than the pre lockdown Trossard - perhaps he's fully fit now. I certainly think he is an asset even if he does look like Robbie Williams.

I admit to having reservations about him as a starter. Always seemed to play so well when coming on as a sub but when starting games he was pretty meh.
He has proved to me in last two games that he can be in the starting 11 and put in impressive displays. He is young. New club. And certainly in a league of significantly higher quality than he has played in before. He has a lot of potential and is improving in leaps and bounds. I believe that in 12-18 months time we won't believe what a bargain he was.
I'm looking forward to seeing a lot more of him. Quick & direct; exactly what I love to watch.
