These aren't the players you're looking for.

Realistically, this isn't our biggest game this week, and it looks like the players know it.

We're obviously resting players for Saturday's game but out attitude hasn't been good enough. We had good momentum going into this game and that could easily be lost if they knock four or five past us.

United are the toughest opposition we could have right now. A team packed with quality players, in great form and with everything to play for meaning they’re on it. We’ll have more chance against Liverpool and City as they could be going through the motions to some extent. My main hope for the second half is that the score doesn’t get ugly.

ManC will destroy us. Another team of top internationals, we’ll be chasing shadows.

That was enough to have me swearing constantly at the telly. Montoya looks like he's been furloughed, connolly is holding on too long before he releases it and bissouma has started ten minutes after everyone else. Collectively they look off balance so you have to say the manager has got it very wrong. I trust him and everyone to try and get some cohesion back into our game as I haven't been this annoyed for some time and I don't like it

Terrible 1st half.
Flat, too deep and no pace.
Numerous players not in the game.
Potter should've shook it up earlier.
Embarrassing to watch considering we're at home.

Thank **** our fans aren't in this stadium tonight. Absolute lack of context shown by a majority in this thread. A bit like our typical home support when things aren't going well - embarrassing.

We are playing a top team in top form. We aren't at our best, but they have been quality - they have made us look worse than we actually have been.

Definitely shouldn't be too harsh on the players here. On our day we can beat anyone, but against top 6 sides we need to fortunate enough to catch them on a bad day. Today we are unfortunately playing one at the top of their game.

Probably won't get anything tonight, but an early goal against tiring legs, some inspired substitutions, then who knows.

No excuse for letting united walk the ball around though like a training game. They only played Sunday, too.

I can't agree. Any top six side will look good if you let them have the ball. We are set up to contain and do not have any plan to get out and create anything. We look scared of them and have made them look good.
