Well we can't point the finger at Zaha now.

What on earth are you talking about? Instead of trying to score some cheap internet points, how about we look into how it was that Guendouzi was able to sneak that sledgehammer onto the pitch and how no one saw him swing it violently into Maupay's stomach, stand above and spit on him and not even VAR interfered? Conspiracy? I think so, it's clear the FA, the Premier League and the PGMOL have it in for us because we offered free tickets to the NHS. How else do you explain their inaction there and at the end, when Guendouzi locked in the MMA chokehold and needed both teams to tear him off of Maupay.

Nothing like Zaha throwing himself to the ground because he saw someone in the crowd take a sip of coffee.

Didn't have a choice so yes. Not the fake atmosphere but the game itself. We were so rusty in the first half and they looked more disinterested than usual. Magnificent result and maybe we needed to end the season somehow but for me, this is a pale imitation of the game. Just felt flat watching it and even my growl of delight at the winner was a bit muted.

I think it's inevitable given the lead in and the summer weather. Albion players were not as switched on for long periods so the result is helpful in extreme.

Two or three games time and I think the pace will be quicker.

It's good to have the crowd noise on. I saw a game the other night that felt like a natural game. Turn the noise off and it feels different.

Good thing there was no crowd today given 30% would have left early and missed the winning goal.
