How is she endagering them any more than if they were walking next to a road? They are kids, not lemmings, they are very unliklely going to jump off the cliff randomly.

This highlights the issue perfectly - for those more familiar with chalk cliffs we are fully aware of the random nature of the cliffs and their ability to give way at any time no need to jump the cliff will help you.

I know, right? Why the hell would someone wear their socks that high unless they’re playing tennis?

Nerd.

All of them look idiots to me. That women with the children should be charged for endangering her kids. Thick the lot of them.

Aye ...wonder how close to the edge the guy taking the photograph was ..although if he works from the Argus he’d probably be in Brighton with his telephoto lens

Birling Gap near Eastbourne today.

To be fair, most, if not all of them are probably foreign, so like Swansman, probably aren’t as aware of the dangers as we are.

Still, to go on the edge like that is a bloody stupid thing to do though, but there are people who do things like that all over the world and record it, a lot of them die :ffsparr:

Seen too many people over the years lose their life. When you grow up by the Sea and Cliffs you learn to respect it.

This and this again. i regularly walk up there and call me sensitive but I won't go nearer than 30 metres from the edge. there's a special type of stupid person that goes close. It's scarey!

Sweaty palm stuff that. Although I must confess once to standing close to the edge and looking over. That said, I was a grown adult who could make their own decisions.

The Argus reporting a 400ft drop. It's about 100ft.
