I remember the opening day against Watford - he and Maupay looked lethal up front together.

If his attitude is right, I'd have him back. Big if though, I suspect.

Sincerely doubt Potter will even consider him, you don’t sent players out on loan and leave yourself with a kid, a grandad and a player who has not proved himself at this level if you think he might be worth a place. Bridges well and truly burnt imo.

If attitude is right, he's a better option (in the short to medium term at least) to Connolly.

If Potter wants him in the squad
If he can sort his attitude out
If he can keep his anger in check
If the rest of the squad are happy with having him back

....then id give him another go. But that's a lot to ask.

Which in its does ask a fair few questions:-

How mentals is Andone?
How much of a people person is GPott?
&
Where did he get his degree from?

Maybe his qualifications didn’t cover managing a psychopath!

This !!

I’m still confused by the whole situation myself ...... when he left he complained about a lack of opportunities at the club. He came off the bench twice then started against Southampton which surely indicated he was part of Potters plans.

Yet gets himself sent off and forces a move ...... obviously has issues.

Galatasaray clearly turned his head.

It's not great, but he's not the first player to have agitated for a move away from us. Though probably the first, in my view, to get himself sent off to ensure it happens.

I'm happy to have him back, as he has goalscoring instinct we're screaming out for, but he's got a bit of making up to do.

Hopefully he can be integrated back into the squad.

He's a decent striker.
We need him.
He needs us.

If we can't work through that for the handful of games he will be available for, then god help us.

Despite the strict policy in place to not sign dickheads and him being scouted for months.

I appreciate this is a bit left field, but hang in there.

I do wonder if his attitude might have been different if the club had paid the going rate for him.

They basically said you are not good enough to save this shite team.
You're not good enough to be worth £15m.
We'll wait and buy you for £5m.

You'll arrive with no fanfare, no press, nobody will fawn over you, you'll just be another foreign player.

That sort of thing can matter to a player who isn't 100% focused on his football.

Alternatively the club saved themselves £10m!

He was a better option at the time we binned him though

Yup. Hence - if attitude is right. I'm aware it may not be. However, if he comes back, meshes ok with the team and scores the goals that keep us up, we won't be complaining.

If that happens it will be hero->zero->hero for Florin.

With 5 subs available in games any first team striker we can add into the mix must be worth a look if we can overcome the differences

This is arguably good news if there's going to be some football. Probably bad news if there isn't as it's just another high earner, whose full wages, we will have to pay, just to hone their PS4 skills.

Similarly Knocky. I'm not sure to what degree Fulham can renege on the option to buy, but as player values have crashed and their not getting any income, if they can get out of it legally, i'll sure they will want to. That would be another high earners full wages to pay.

Potter must consider him if he returns and is fit.

We all have had to work with / manage people that we maybe personally dislike but that doesn't mean that they aren't good at their job and a valuable asset to the business..

Personal / personality differences have to be put to one side when you are managing a business.

I would love to see him play for us again.

I'm sure, with social distancing measures in place, he can train in a group of one and sit on his own until called upon. Even with sending off suspensions, we can at least get 3 games out of him.
