Respected Brighton based journo Paul Hayward said 'The amount of Brighton players that would go to his leaving do would fit into a phone box' or something to that effect

Do you like everyone at your work? I'll guess no

Do you make an effort to put that aside, because your at work and being paid to do a job? I'll guess yes.

Maybe, but better work tends to get done when there is not a team member that generally just gets peoples backs up.

It's my understanding that not many of the players actually liked him, or am I wrong? When he left, the social media silence was deafening...

If that's the case, isn't he just going to have a negative effect on the whole mood of the team?

They’ll just have to get over it, like anyone else has to when they don’t like a colleague.
And potter will have to learn how to get the best out of him.
That andone was allowed to leave when we were short up front was wrong on many levels

I used to work with a Romanian fella who did a a bit of match day stewarding at the Amex. He met our Florin a few times and always insisted he was a lovely guy who would be a big star for us if he got the chances.

Andone was on loan at Gala and they can't buy anyone so in the best interests of everyone he comes back for now.

The Bernardo spat was key... can he re-integrate with players who seemed less than enthused with his behaviour?

He's got the potential, no question.

I'd welcome him back with open arms, far too many posters claiming to be ITK acting like he was the devil incarnate.

Newmarket.
Does anybody know he was intensely disliked?
The kick from Bernardo could either be read as a genuine (missed) attempt at hoofing his chewing gum off into the distance
or
a clever ruse to cover up Bernardo's wish to give Florin a free boot?

I'd like to see him back as we've missed his energy.
I hope Mr Potter can get him focused and channel his lovely angry attitude toward more of an acceptable end product.
He'll always be remembered for "that" goal by me.

If he can rebuild the bridges, prove his commitment to the team and keep his petulant streak in check then he could be a help for us.

I'm not convinced he can, but I do want to be proved wrong.

I read somewhere (probably here) that he was vocal about his disdain for the management's view that he was behind Murray in the pecking order.

Don’t suppose the players mind him too much when his goals have helped to earn their win bonuses.

Probably not so happy when he was getting sent off early in matches or retrospectively banned for 5 games though eh?

Yeah, I mean, it's not lie anyone else in the squad has got sent off and/or banned.

No you're right. Knockaert disciplinary record was just as a bad... oh I see a theme here

Really? How many games has Dunk missed since we got promoted due to red cards or retrospective actions?

You have clearly forgotten the outrage and “get rid” calls when we were in the Championship and he got sent off. Away at QPR especially, from memory, there were many NSCers who saw him as an absolute liability. Fulham (I think) were interested and there was a queue on here to “drive him there myself”

He did get sent off quite a few times before we got promoted.
