Blimey, how do you work that one out ? The hospitality business is on its knees and the bloke is just showing some initiative.

Yep, we’ve (well me) have got to learn not to look for the bad in everyone. We’re all gonna struggle but the ones that show initiative, work hard and do the right thing will win. The big corporates have more resilience and reserves that the small firms.

Good Luck to you.

It's a terrible, terrible time for small businesses.

The bloke's not trying to flog bog roll for £10 a roll, he's trying to keep his business going, and people employed.

This. Horrible time for small local suppliers. Might be good to keep all the deals and offers in one place tho, for ease of reference, and so those quickest off the mark aren't given undue prominence

Bigger cans than normal so not that expensive either. Beer52 is nearly £3 for 330ml cans

This is exactly the kind of thing small businesses should be doing to try and keep themselves afloat.

Many of my local breweries have been offering similar delivery services with a minimum order. I'm part of a running group which does social runs to most of the breweries and brewpubs around Toronto. The organiser has created a page on our website and Facebook to share all the deals with us. It might be an idea for Bozza to do the same, as a useful resource for people wanting to support local businesses.

Thanks for all the support NSC. It's appreciated. Small local businesses like ours need the help, and now the pubs are closed we need every sale we can get.

The pubs aren't ordering and you lot can't go out, so here's something to help make covid containment a bit more enjoyable.

Good Things Brewing are based just outside Crowborough, East Sussex. Order direct from us: http://www.goodthingsbrewing.co

Minimum order 12 cans, free national home delivery included. Use code: STANDORFALL (use caps) to get your discount.

Stay safe, drink beer.

As a raging alcoholic, my exit strategy for this crisis is to drink myself to death before the virus gets me or society as we know it collapses around me. I’m gonna give this a go - any recommendations, sir?

FWIW, if you like a decent beer I’d recommend buying from independent breweries and / or specialist beer shops for the time being. The supermarkets are going to be devoid of anything other than Fosters and Carlsberg, and to be honest they’re probably going to be ok for revenue over the next few weeks. Many small businesses won’t be.

Very disappointing that there was no "reaching out" used in that mail.

A missed opportunity if ever there was one.

Excellent service and my order came through the same day. To my surprise I received another order a few hours later to which I enquired why? They made a mistake but refused my offer to make a contribution for said beers. On them. So, 24 tins for the price of 12. Just had first of the IPA I will definitely be placing another order with these guys.

I recommend :clap2:i

Last time I was in a supermarket (middle of last week) there was plenty of decent bottled ale in the 4 for £6 section, and the likes of Old Speckled Hen and Hobgoblin were readily available in four packs.

Old Speckled Hen decent? Decidedly average. I'll support the local brews for the interim.

Not bad at all. Not as good as Old Crafty Hen, but that doesn't come in four-packs for four quid or so!
