Indeed - a 'general location' was all I was expecting..................
I really need to research the local area a bit more for some sea lure fishing..never done much of it but really fancy trying it.
I can confirm you are in for a good chance of a Bass up to 6lb ish lowtiding anywhere from lancing through to Ferring. You need pretty gin clear water and topwater lures like Heddon Spooks and lucky Craft Sammy's and the small Patchinko's . water needs to be very calm, winds no more than 10mph and first light/ dusk best times.

Forgot to say that pearl, pale yellow and white lures seem to work best, watch out for bloody seagulls though, they will try to take your lure if you are not careful.

If i'm asked i will politely reply this is my one bit of exercise per day and it strangely lasts the same time as it takes the tide to go from low to high .
The sport/activity will be floundering now with the new COVID-19 restrictions.

I know that’s a joke but we’ve had to shut the shops today, no idea if we are shutting the fisheries yet but I presume so.
Obviously unaware that you or others are in the industry. I hope it pans out for you once this turmoil clears.

Was booked in for weds at a lake, they text to say they're now closed, and the Angling Trust has stated no more fishing for the foreseeable future.

The one thing I had left during all this was the prospect of sitting by a lake in the middle of nowhere doing a spot of fishing without a soul for miles around.
Seems like i've got to stop that now too.
Lucky I've got loads of trout flies to tie before/if the trout season goes ahead.
