[Albion] What are you going to do without football and other sport?

Looks like all Isthmian league and Southern league games have been postponed. National league still going ahead.

Bognor at home Next two Saturdays 17th and 21st and also at home on Tuesday 24th and Worthing at home on Saturday 28th

Likelihood of non league football continuing for much longer? I think it will be gone too sadly. Might get two more weekends out of it MAYBE.

Yep several leagues just announced matches suspended so only leagues playing tomorrow are quite far down the pyramid.

Self-isolation, so banished to the bedroom for the weekend to protect the wife and kids. Yesterday I thought it won’t be so bad, at least I can watch sport on TV all weekend. Don’t know what I’m gonna do now.

I'll be honest much of my life is built around the Albion. I go to every game home and away, most of my friends are Albion fans, and I spend much of my work time thinking and talking about football.

So as it looks highly likely that we won't be seeing any football until at least the summer, maybe later, what are we all going to do.

I think I will be doing a LOT of gardening. I may start running.

Any other suggestions?

I was thinking this earlier. My life outside of work and family is totally consumed by football, Albion and European football, it really leaves a massive hole.

I think I’m going to start picking up fiction books again. I used to read a lot of books but in recent years haven’t at all really except for football biographies and coaching/management manuals etc. Might do me good to take an extended break from the game!

Fed up with trains. Sick of the rain.
This is uncharted territory.

Normally from August to May I can rely on there being an Albion game, or a London Scottish game, an Isthmian league game at Burgess Hill or a trip to Edinburgh for a Hibs game and/ or Edinburgh Rugby.

Then Cricket in the Summer.

Frankly, I'm flummoxed.

A similar story for me. This has made realise just how much I watch the sport, an interest gained in the 70’s. Genuinely, some people may have addiction withdrawal problems.

The folk said exaggerating that they were done with football forever due to VAR, will miss PL football as much as anyone else.

Currently watching the last remaining live sport in England on BT. All England badminton championships. Some of it is truly spectacular, but as both my daughters play it’s at least a sport I’m familiar with.
