Sunak is The Andrex Kid, the previous 12 years of shite won't stick to him because he was under the radar until 3 months ago. Future Prime Minister when Johnson ****s up.

Great budget. Strengthens the Tories further. Just need Long Bailey to win the Labour leadership for a full house. My faith in politics have been restored. What a team Boris has put together.

A Great Budget?

To me it seemed like nothing more than a series of catch phrases, playing to the back benches behind him.

Most of the announcements were for phased or deferred increases and merely partly clawing back what the Tories have taken away since 2010.

I very much doubt if I will be any better off in 12 months time than I am now.

£60B extra spending a year, than originally planned, according the BBC.

How much has 3 years of Brexit delays cost the the UK instead of respecting the referendum result and getting on with it ? Maybe the BBC should print those figures.

Laughed my socks of when he said " The government that got Brexit done " … er sorry, you haven't !

We were told we needed austerity and accepted it, now they say we need to invest in our "Great Country " etc etc after they quite obviously withdrew funding for our " Our Great Country " ….yet the morons still lap it up !

Really good budget.

Latest polls have the Conservatives at over 50%.

The Labour leader contenders all look duffers. It is going to be a fantastic decade

I don’t suppose anything will be good enough for the doomsayers and gloomsters that is the cult of the London centric Labour Party.

If John McDonnell had introduced this Budget, the Tories and the Express, Mail, Sun, Torygraph and Times would have been screaming about economic recklessness, irresponsible spending, "same old Labour", and warning of Britain being turned into Venezuela.

But the Tories borrow-and-spend £ billions, and it's all wonderful

But if Labour had presented an identical budget - spending £ billions extra on infrastructure, NHS and broadband - you'd be on here accusing them of Communism :tosser:

I would like to see the higher earners 40% tax rate rise as promised by Boris in the election build up.....higher tax costs me an awful lot.
Either that or make military pensions tax free!!!!

Which public services or pensions would you like to see cut to pay for your lower tax?

The opposition benches seem quiet.

Are there far fewer Labour MP’s than there used to be?

Labour MPs probably trying to work out why spending £ billions extra is OK when the Tories do it, but is the end-of-civilisation when Labour pledge it.
