Obvious he was frustrated at the turgid stuff last season, i'm sure Bloom new the sentiment of fans and the constant Hughton In/Out threads. He wanted something different, but I'd hazard a guess that our new gaffer was the result of Dan Ashworths advice?

Pretty embarrassing that we gave him a huge new contract though after about 12 games or something if he then takes us down. The media love hughton so would love bringing that up

Sack him and get Big Sam in tomorrow and we've have a chance of retaining our PL status. Apart from Ghostbusters, who else can we call? We need a proven PL manager with nouse and the ability to get the best out of these players. I reckon Murray would start shooting us out of trouble under such a manager. Propper and Stephens meanwhile would be on their way out. Got to act now though.

I'd take relegation.

Who's idea was it to extend Potter's contract I wonder ?

That wont happen, Bloom was going to back Hyypia with more funds, luckily Hyypia fessed up he didnt know what he was doing and fell on his sword. Bloom may chuck a few quid at it, but because he has chosen Potter and given him a new deal a mere weeks ago, I doubt he'd now give him the boot. Plenty of clubs would though

FFS we really do have no luck at all at the moment

These are halcyon days to be a Brighton fan, why do I wish I supported a different team

@Icy ... every cloud and all that. If we drop, I’ll go to all 23 home games with pleasure, I’d look forward to us having a bloody good chance of actually winning.

Would you feel the same?

The PL hype and obsession is a bit ridiculous at times.

Only Bloom will pay the price for this.

We’ve benefited more than any other team from VAR.

Sorry, I forgot all those goals from the likes of Villa, Sheff Utd & Spurs that if they’d not been overruled, we’d have picked up 3 points each time. Bollocs

Points wise, we’ve lost more than our fair share due to VAR.

Well we all know that Tony won't panic just yet he'll start to panic if another 3 or 4 successive defeats follow and we will be next to bottom

Not being facetious, but given that he's ultimately accountable for the cost of relegation and owns a company that makes millions in analysing and gambling on football matches, I reckon we can trust him to make the decision early enough if required.
