Loving it so far. Some of the stuff we played last night was tremendous. Hard to believe how much he's transformed us in such a small amount of time.

Brilliant collection.....thanks for posting. Sensational movement and passing. That turn from Alzate in the first clip is something else.

I think we have all accepted that the occasional whupping is on the cards with the way we play. You can’t take the game to top teams without leaving yourself exposed to their fleet footed and quick thinking players.

Embrace the way we are playing rather than worry about how we might get beat

I just don't understand this way of thinking. You might win one or two more but we have undoubtedly lost matches that Hughton would have secured a point. Arsenal didn't play that well and I say we earned the victory. I think Hughton, with the same breaks, wins that match too.

God I loves that, thank you very much.
At least 6 Arsenal players pulled out of position.

We just got three points so CH would have had to draw three to match it, which three games we have lost would CH have got at least a point in then?

Spoiler - you are going to struggle here

Lol I see you just edited your post to suggest that CH would have also got a win last night. I give up, you win

I did add that I think Hughton would have gotten 3 points, with the same breaks, in the Arsenal match.

Some of these Hughton boys are a bit weird. It’s like they support CH more than they do Albion.

I loved the guy too but we’ve moved on, and GP has been sensational for us so far.

I'll bite. We wouldn't have beaten Everton. We got whuppings under Hughton too remember - and against ****ing Bournemouth - a 'must win' game at the time - included (disregarding Liverpool, Chelsea, City etc)

Davy Propper - 6 seems to feature quite prominently.

It's good stuff - isn't it -

just like to point out that 6 out of the 11 on the pitch last night weren't in the team last season - that's not to take away from the change in approach - but the 6 extra players have made a difference (there is a lot more pace on the pitch to start with).

Like many of us I thought CH was great. But if CH had been our manager last night I don’t think we’d have won because he’s not as adventurous as GP. Our winning goal last night had 6 of our players in their box - CH wouldn’t have done that, he’d have shut up shop and gone for a point. For GP to still be attacking away to Arsenal in the last 10 mins, when it might have been easier to settle for a point, takes a lot of balls and self confidence - and confidence in the team.

Different team - different manager - different circumstances - different gameplan - different season - different opposition (in terms of changes from last season) - you cannot compare individual games from season to season.

lack of speculative hoofs over the top was evidenced by the fact that no Brighton player was caught offside during the entire match

I'm highlighting this as a thing in general and absolutely isn't a cheap shot.

Is no offsides a rarity?
Just one of those things that pass you by, or is it actually an 'oh my no offsides - wow' ?

an exemplar of a lack of effort

It's not a different team.

8 of the starting XI last night were available to CH last season.
That in itself is a bit of a record as it's usually 9 or 10 players.
