Is it the case get free BT Sport if you have BT Broadband ?

its free through a web app through BT Broadband (also on Plusnet). have to pay for BT TV to have it on TV, however most graphic cards will output HDMI so you can plug into to TV.

WHAT?! I have BT broadband (no other choice here), but I didn't want to pay the extra £15 per month for BT Sport. You are saying I can watch it on the app anyway?

I got it online for an extra fee. About a fiver a month. Although I squeezed it to less.

The BT show with James Richardson is FANTASTIC. They have all the games playing in little screens and then go to each game for any goals, pens, cards or controversial events. Really good product IMHO, a bit like Jeff and the boys but with the actual footage rather than just explaining it.

Agreed, its brilliant and they actually have pundits in the studio that know what they are talking about. Not just some famous names like you often find on Sky.

Aah yes Jezza the communist where everything is free. Err except that he bankrupts the country as well. Horrible man .
Is he really a horrible man? I have him down as a well meaning lunatic.

I don't think it's free, but I don't think it costs very much extra. I should probably check as I don't watch it very often at all.

We do have BT Sport, but have never had Sky.

It used to cost me a fiver extra. But the Broadband was twice the price

Blew Sky and ITV out of the water again with a £1.2bn deal.

Bit of a nuisance as I'm not ditching Sky, and I'm not paying for another subscription so that's Europe pretty much off my radar again (other than if I go down the pub for the odd game). Surprised these rights don't get SPLIT between broadcasters, not even highlights. But there you go.
I ditched BT this year as their prices unless you sign up to broadband are ridiculous. I used to be able to negotiate a good discount but they were not having it this year.
Rumour is by the end of year Sky will be including BT in packages (as they have earlier in the year in Ireland). If it’s as good as the introductory deal for Netflix on Sky £2.50 for 18 months then I’ll be signing up. I think the Irish deal was an extra £10 pm then double after introductory period.

Competition lost something when free to air TV lost it.

BT do a decent enough job but doesnt mean as much which is a shame

I got a SIM only mobile contract with EE which allows you to get BT Sport for £15 a month via the tinterweb and I watch it on my Apple TV.

I can’t say I’m too fussed about the CL but my son loves a big game to tide him through the week.

a, Corbyn is a Democratic Socialist, b, I don't think "Everything Free " is in the manifesto, c, the country's debt has increased while under the Tory policy of austerity, d, I'd rather be sat on a train with Corbyn than stuck next to a lying fantasist who isn't sure how many kids he has.

Well said tone

Don’t bother with it, not worth what they charge IMO until maybe the KO stage if there’s some interesting ties.

Oh and as an aside point, I think turning threads totally unrelated into political binfests should be a bannable offence on here, quite irritating

Their coverage is much better than Sky’s ever was but as a corporate tactic I’m astonished they’ve gone back in at that price.

Their new CEO I thought announced in February an end to the expansion of the sporting rights ‘gamble’ as their average viewing figures for all of their football coverage is below Sky’s and their tv service is not money making generally primarily due to a lack of advertising pulling power.

I have access only via occasional sharing of log on details from a familial BT broadband user but otherwise I couldn’t give a tinker’s cuss about signing up for another paid service.

I've got the full package with Virgin media and if you have that they bundle BT sport with it which is great.

The full Virgin package? Bl**dy hell - when did you win the lottery!?
It's £90p/m (we have 2 boxes) which is pricey I know, but I do watch a lot of sport. It's actually slightly cheaper than the equivalent on Sky.

You don't need the full package to get BT Sports with Virgin. I do not have movies or Sky Sports and still get BT Sports. I pay around £60 p/m.
