then you questioned it is ever sold out.

No I didn't, I actually wrote that the Amex wasn't a proper sell out / every seat taken. As every home game I've ever seen there are empty seats. Bry Nylon had tried to buy 3 seats on the exchange and couldn't because his MyAlbion membership only allows him to buy two seats. I said that seems ridiculous, which it is in my opinion.

Are there ? As far as I can see there are 6 in the wheelchair area, otherwise it’s sold out. I’ve been checking in the hope that a few get released (happens sometimes) but at the moment there’s no availability

No probably not, I can't click on the link to look. The buy button is greyed out, so I assumed there were tickets left but I'm not eligible to buy them. They are probably just the disabled ones.

Yes - just 6 in the wheelchair area at the front (would allow me to buy them but guess that wouldn't be appropriate) . Site is down for 'maintenance' anyway now......

Hopefully a few will pop up at some point for you. I guess my only chance, is if someone is unable to attend on the day as part of a group and they can't find anyone to travel at short notice. I live 10 minutes from Anfield. ???

I'd wager the best part of 8p were you to call the ticket office they will sell you the seats.

Just saw 3 together come up the Exchange, front row of East Stand for tomorrow's game. Called the ticket office straight away and we're IN!

3 points at home on a wet and windy day. That sounds familiar.

SEAGULLS!

I have elected to collected tickets form the stadium rather than print at home.

On the confirmationary email the club sent, it states "If collecting on a home match day we strongly advise arriving at least 2 hours before kick off."

Is that really necessary or slight over kill?

Over kill.

Are they just trying to lessen the last minute queues?

Not necessary in my experience.
I've never had to wait for more than 10 minutes max when needing to get tickets upgraded etc

A few extra tickets just popped up for the Man Utd game, so there's a strong possibility that the same might happen for Anfield.

100% true story.

The best bit about buying over the phone as opposed to on-line was the 'enhanced security clearance' I had to pass, to ensure I was eligible to purchase x3 tickets.

Agent: Do you know any other Brighton supporters?
Me: Yes.
Agent: Can you give me the name of one of them?
Me: Err, what are you going to do - phone them up?
Agent: No - it's just to pass your enhanced security clearance.
Me: Err - okay. How about Bozza? [At this point I did provide Bozza's non-Bozza name].
Agent: (after a pause) That's great - can I have your long card number please?

Man Utd and Liverpool away now both sold out on ticket site.

*(1 ambulant for MU and 8 wheelchair for Liverpool but no standard tickets remaining)

A few extra tickets just appeared for Anfield at the front of the stand - at first glance these appear to be 'ambulant disabled', however some of them state 'availalble to all'. The drop down doesn't give an option of regular pricing, only disabled prices, so all very contradictory/confusing. I'm still hopeful that additional 'regular' tickets will start to spring up before too long, much as they did for Old Trafford last week.
