Personally I think NSC has gone into freefall since people starting hearing weird noises at night over the East Brighton area.

You always get lulls on a forum. There are simply times when there's not really much to say, people get busy doing other things, or the general mood isn't there.

We've got Brexshit, miserable weather - and a pretty dull international break if racism doesn't excite you. Not exactly conducive to people going mad-happy at their keyboards.

A hundred posts in eight years and you feel fit to comment on the quality of debate on here? As you would say 'Jeeeeeeese!' It's like the WSU criticising the NS for lack of singing.

To be fair, though, the singing in the NS is ****ing shit. Fact.

NSC has always been a bear pit and a breeding ground for binfests. I have been here for over 15 years and it can be the most brutal of sites but also I have noted the most compassionate when a member asks for help in a period of crisis and needing emotional support

Marmite isn't a salty as it used to be. Summers aren't as warm. Ladies bottoms aren't as squidgy. Telly comdy isn't as funny. The news is more gloomy. People are worse off. Days are shorter, nights darker.....etc etc.

Far fewer nasty thread-derailing trolls. Much more humanity. And, what you said

I couldn't give a toss about most young people. I've got to be old. Tomorrow is guaranteed to nobody. Its a journey, just make the most of it. That's it really.
