Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson is a much better striker ,and he has been down there for at least 5 years and is a proven goal scorer in the Premier league , and not one of the big clubs have gone for him , so why should they come in for Connolly ?

Primarily because he's had two bad knee injuries and therefore perhaps they don't feel he's worth the risk?

The crux of it.

If Ben White went to Liverpool he would be the stand in for Van Dijk and Gomez so better off staying with us if we can match their wage offer.
We don't have to match their wage offer (and wouldn't), he's our player.

Strangely no mention in the Liverpool Echo, RAWK, Thisisanfield, by James Pearce in The Athletic, the BBC, Guardian, Independent, Telegraph or Times.

All obviously hopeless, compared to the geniuses at The Sun and Daily Mail.
Yes, but who's selling more papers?

The worry is that these stories are appearing beginning of October. He carries on playing like he is for the rest of the season, they're only going to multiply

I have been following him on waccoe and elsewhere and he is certainly 'ripping up trees' as it were - thankfully it seems he is under contract at the Amex until 2022.

Potter's revolution will not see him disappearing without trace - onwards and upwards with GP !

Clearly a real talent. We should get him back this season if we can. He's surely ready for the first team..

I can't recall seeing Ben White kick or head a football. Clearly you're been keeping a closer eye on things than me, so who would you be playing him instead of?

If Liverpool actually want him, it would be very difficult to keep him here.

Yup.

Yup.

He’s dunks replacement if he carries on as he’s started or he’ll slot into burns position and he’ll be the back up

I'd rather he played for us myself
Don't disagree with that.

Dunk, if Dunk finally gets that big money move?

Fortunately, Leeds fans will see the scousers off on our behalf >>> https://the72.co.uk/146408/back-off...as-liverpool-linked-to-on-loan-starlet-white/
Amusing to see that they think they have a say in it!

Big money for a player who doesn’t figure for us, in a position we are well covered in, would be superb business. We have to generate money from somewhere

We get plenty of dosh from being in the Premier League.

The money we will make is from savings as we develop and play talent like Connolly, Alzate & White in our first team instead of blowing £60m - £70m on three top top players.

Bloom has proved himself as a ‘keeper’ not a ‘seller’ if the manager wants the players to stay. That’s why the likes of Liverpool & Leeds would be told where to go if they dared enquire about White. I suspect Tony might have a conversation if a bid over £50m came in but essentially, the man is not for selling.
