I'm not sure which group of people scare me more...

1. Those who voted for Boris Johnson to he Prime Minister.
2. Those who are thinking "Johnson is doing a GREAT job right now".

...although I concede they are broadly one and the same.

Can I change my vote?
I said 'as expected' assuming he'd be sh*t. But, and god knows how, he has managed to surpass my expectations and be even worse than I'd thought.

Yesterday was a teriible day for Boris. His brother resigned and said he can't be trusted, he was made to look stupid by random bypassers in Yorkshire, a police cadet collapsed as result of listening to his endless waffle and he finally promised to die 'in a ditch' rather than ask for an extension, providing an open goal for the opposition (who have now agreed to dig the said ditch, stand back and wait).

And yet that was STILL the best day of the week for him so far.

Hopefully he will stay in situ long enough for the bumbling buffoon to completely f up the Tory party.

And then fall in the same ditch as Robert Mugabe
Unfortunately, Mugabe fell in the ditch about 30 years too late, and, not as a result of his crimes against the people of Zimbabwe.

You can't get more of a charisma contrast than Theresa May and Boris Johnson, and there's no doubt the EU know that Boris is prepared to leave with No Deal.

The problem is that I can't conceive of any 'Deal' the EU will offer the UK that will in any way satisfy Boris's objectives. It's all froth, bluster, posturing and gladhanding but no substance.

What's been significant is that the Tories have improved in the polls while Labour has dipped, and there's a 12-point gap opened up between Tory and Labour. If there's a General Election before we leave the EU Corbyn will take a shoeing unless the other parties are prepared to stand aside and not split the anti-Brexit vote. That would be a bitter pill to swallow for the majority of Remainers who look at Corbyn's historic voting record and see a Brexiteer.

To be fair to Corbyn he has tried to be consistent for 3 years. He hasn't seen it as 17m or 16m, he's seen it as 33m almost evenly split. He's looked to respect the portion of the 17m that voted for him, as well as portion of 16m - hence his position of a soft exit, and resisting a second referendum even from the staunchest of pressure from remain within his party. He's looked more statesmanlike this week than perhaps at anytime in his leadership. There are enough people finally thinking he may have been right. The accusations of not picking a side etc. now looking rather hollow as we see a government self destruct because it has done exactly that. At present, he does appear to have enabled a unified opposite with the other parties.

The Torygraph and Sun can cry cowards etc. but it is all sounding very very hollow. This time more than ever polls could be absolutely meaningless leading up to the next election. People are finally getting bored with Brexit and are remembering we have our own country to consider and run. This really is what the next election should be fought on. The opposition is exactly right in resisting this being made a one policy election. There is much more at stake.

Marvellous headline I saw somewhere.. " Joe Johnson quits Politics to spend less time with Family "

Boris is an utter disaster and his Premiership won't end well. May was useless but at least you could reasonably trust what little she actually said. Already we are at the position where even Johnson's own MP's don't trust a word he says about the timing of a General Election or his other promises.
The front bench of the Tories at PMQ'S said it all, they were looking at the floor or sat ashen as Boris ranted, raged and accused in a stuttering shambles, " He's not the Messiah.... "

Boris will be the last of a line of ineffective Conservative PM’s starting with Cameron that killed off the Tory party and a case study for incompetence and bad decision making in politics which led to it.

If there was a general election tomorrow I'd seriously consider voting Lib Dem, the 2 party domination of British politics is coming to a end.

Both Tory and Labour will lose hundreds of seats to the Lib Dems when the next election happens, can't really blame people for voting differently either, what a absolute cluster fk these goons have got this country in, its not even funny anymore.

I'm naturally right of centre but haven't voted Tory for some time now and there's no way on earth I could consider doing it in the near future.

Corbyn is an utter car crash of a politician, so the Lib Dems, who I have voted for recently, will continue to get my vote.

Although I am naturally left of centre, your opinions are spectacularly similar to mine.

In fact, I feel terrible about myself that I was so anti-Major/Clarke back in the 1990s. What was I thinking? Oh for the same level of competence, honestly and decency on the front benches now. If Major ran the Tories now, I'd be there like a shot.

If we had election now Brexit party would take so many votes of Labour,Cons and Lib Dems that result would be distorted. Election has to be more then just about Brexit and this has to be sorted first. No good blaming Cons or Labour for Brexit mess because any govenment would struggle with different opinions in house. I was remainer but once vote was out any government had obligation to do so. There were 2 options ,Negotiate the best deal Europe who were in driving seat would allow or make it plain we would come out with no deal. All the time Europe dont consider latter will happen they will remain in charge of proceedings

I honestly don't know which group would be the greater number of people in it. I've seen a few people comment how he's doing a great job and everything that's happened is all part of his 'plan'. Did anyone who voted for him to be PM predict that he would have such a shitstorm of a week? In a way, it's a bit like Brexit itself – it seems like a good idea at the time to lots of voters, until they realise that the people they've put their trust in don't have a cocking CLUE how to carry out the job they are meant to be doing!

Absolute shambolic scenes.
