Depends on where he's played.

You have him as a Propper midfielder, my point is that player under CH wasn't given license to roam forward.

Now IF he's a Propper midfielder and Propper is allowed more attacking freedom then I'd like to think his numbers would also look more appealing.
I certainly believe Davy is better than Mooy.

Much the same applies to him being a Gross midfielder (for whom decent backup might have saved CH his job).
I believe Gross is a better player.

As for a Stephens replacement well the least said about those 'fans' the better.

It depends on loads of factors, different teams play different tactics etc etc. BUT you both made the automatic assumption he'd likely score less for us because of our rigid this and that, despite we outscored Huddersfield 2 seasons running, were more threatening 2 seasons running, created more clear chances etc. SO equally you can say had he been here, he might have MORE than the goals he's got. Now that is open minded thinking.

Loan signing sounds excellent business
Certainly sounds excellent for Mooy. He probably gets some extra cash, gets to play in the PL, and next year he's out of contract and set for a windfall.

It seems surprising that Huddersfield didn't insist on a sale rather than a loan, and it's also not that great for us if he turns out to be decent and then he's not even ours in a years time.

Maybe it would all make more sense if we knew the figures involved.

Hopefully Bruno will work closely with him and help him develop his beard.

Buddy, seriously, whatever it is that makes you happy, go and do it. Unless that's moaning on a message board.

I'm at work, sadly. Happiness is therefore impossible.
But I'm enjoying the TDD exchange of views.

Someone has clearly pissed on TSB's chips, shagged his girfriend and keyed his car. He never used to be so unbelievably negative about EVERYTHING. It's tiresome now.

I agree. Go to the pub, have a nice walk in the sunshine, help an old lady across the road with her shopping...... or something.
