Not fallen for anything. Just saw it floating about and thought I'd share it with the class, in amongst all the general amusement. You have to take everything on social media with a large pinch of salt, thought that went without saying.

Hmmmm... it's fake and you're presenting as real.

We should put a cheeky £10m bid in for him, just to push them over the edge!

Oh my days!
What a marvellous dénouement to the comi-tragic Tumble Palace story.
10/10. Heartily recommend.

Dougie. You've gone very quiet. Hilariously quiet. Still convinced he LOVES it at Palace?

I've changed my mind about you. I don't want you to leave now. Your stupidity is welcome. You're a gift and you just keep on giving.

Those dickheads better get Víctor Camarasa signed up pdq. (I mean this as in I hope it falls through.)

He may not fancy a consecutive relegation scrap as is likely without Dibley whilst his agent might see a chance for much better financial terms.

If Terry Tumble signs for Everton, his debut will be back at Stad de Clad on Saturday!
Ironic or what.
Just imagine the welcome to red and blue blood Terry Tumble

They will get the value of the overall deal. So £70m cash and say them players are worth £30 then they get 20/25% of the £100m.

Is that the case these days? I vaguely recall us losing out on a sell on clause when Zamora went from Spurs to West Ham as part of a sweetener in the Defoe to spurs deal

Didn't Stephens put in a transfer request 24 hours before the window shut? We made him stay but luckily he had the right attitude about it and we didn't give him any grief as we could see he knuckled down.
So Palace will probably refuse the transfer request and make him stay. Thing is, will Palace fans forgive him and will he put the effort in? I'm not sure about that based on the vitriolic against him!

I'm sure i read that somewhere not too long ago when Arsenal were bidding for Zaha with exchange for players thrown in. Trying to find it but can't seem to at the mo.*

*I could be talking absolute shit but surely Parish would want to do the player swap/cash deal instead of all cash if that wasn't the case?? He would not have to pay Utd as much for the sell on clause.

Hahaha. Wilf playing for Everton, and scoring in that game, would be just the most DELICIOUS start to the season imaginable.

(Not that it would happen. No doubt if this transfer proceeds, Palace will insist on an (informal) agreement that he doesn't feature in that game)
They can't do that. I know you said 'informal', but either you can or can't, and you can't. And since Palace said they'd let him go and have since reneged on that informal agreement, I can't see why Wilf would want to stick to a new one.

Probably a moot point as he wont be fully match fit anyway.

Suppose he could always come off the bench for Everton to hurl himself against a Palace defender's leg in the last minute......and put away the penalty.

That would be fun.
