A wee bit inflammatory.

For me it was the moment Ali J tried to boot the ball aimlessly up field and ended up skying it to boos and jeers and angry yelling from people around me... before he collected the ball as it came down and broke up field.

Yes got away with one, but then the sublime control...... His touch is actually very good.

Sussex, by the sea
we played down to an average championship team and just about got away with it.

In other news 3 points, end of thread.

The crowd being right behind our low in confidence players in a must win game from start to finish.
No moaning just pure support from our great fans.
It gave me a warm feeling of brotherly togetherness.

Not sure where you were sat but there was a hell of a lot of moaning and despondency as the first half progressed and at half time today where i was sat!!

So, so happy for the win though. Hopefully it'll give us the kick we need. Andone must start next game ...

I thought it would have been "Oh, Mrs May" if we had lost.

Being that we had a 12 point gap between us and the nearest relegation candidate then blew it in 4 weeks of the campaign with a negative approach...

Andone coming on in the 57 minute.

Why?

Because he scored 22 minutes after coming on, if Hughton had changed it after 70 mins like normal, he may just have run out of time and we would be 2 points worse off.

West west west Sussex
showed some good touches today. Perhaps Ali, Biss, Bernardo, Andone could be regular starters next season

They're gonna have to be as next seasons new singings will be waiting till March to get their run out in the team.

For me, the best part was the scoreline at final whistle.

Second best was the rendition, unbidden, towards the end (not the one at the final whistle) of 'Sussex By The Sea' by virtually the whole ground. Brilliant.

It's what the stadium was built for.

If it had been a rugger match, it could have been a scrum down from where he booted it. It went straight out on the full.

It would have been a lineout from where he booted it wouldn’t it?
