Geddes definitely played and scored for us. It was a bit of a surprise when he signed and played as he was at school with my ex and we worked together at the CoOp by the dogs. Always a decent enough player as a kid but never picked out as a future pro.

Bit of a dodge pot but also never realised he’d do something like this.

You're not wrong and nothing has changed in the past 20/30 years, Peacehaven and Burgess Hill did the same thing. It's incredible to think of such a good Wick side of the time and yet Peacehaven were the best side in the county.

I remember that well, Newman, Duchossey, etc, ruled the County League for Sussex, then overnight Burgess Hill got an owner with money who offered far higher wages, and the best players left en masse. Before all that, Shoreham had done the very same thing.
