I think we’re pretty much on the same page with Gross.
Agree in the main.
Hopefully, it’s not about team anything, because as pointed out above we all want everyone of our players to play well.
For me Gross has struggled this season, there were glimpses yesterday, but last year he set very high standards and, IMO, has yet to get close to those (mainly because of his injury).
He is also not getting into the box as much.
Great player but just not quite there yet.

So now it's the morning, have you reconsidered that horrendously low rating?
If not, we're going to be on motd in a couple of minutes, watch that and then come and talk about Stephens 'sideways /backwards passing slowing down our attacks'
Nothing has changed. That said, another poster said it was Stephens who played the ball straight to Aubameyang for their goal. I wasn’t aware of this but I won’t mark him down further as their goal was due to collective **** ups imho.

Good. I'm sure you'll agree there's some exquisite 'sideways / backwards passes' from stephens there
Ryan 8 Kept us in game

Duffy 7 ok
Balagon 6 Good on ball just needs to know sometimes best to hoof
Barnardo 7 Good apart from crosses
Stevens 5 Not a fan and would prefer Bassouma/Kayal. Dont know what he does apart from stay between half way line and our goal but thankfully Manager does.
Propper 7 Have been waiting for him to get more involved at home games going forward and yesterday was the day.
Gross 5 Hope last season wasnt a one off. Way off the pace now and would like to see Bassouma play there
Murray 5 Not his fault. On his own and little mid field support.
Locadia 7 Such an improvement. Just shows what game time can do.
March 3 Would love to see local player come good but had terrible game. I fear him and Knockhaert who will prob take his place on Sat are now out of there depth.
Manager All credit it worked achieved his usual aim of staying in game and could have nicked a win. However if Arsenal had got a winner sure many would agree that Andone,Bissouma and Knockhaert should have been on at 50/55 mins

I'm not sure whether you think this is a good thing, a bad thing, or an indifferent thing. March seems to be the new boo-boy on here, but I think he does a lot more than people give him credit for, and CH certainly rates him -- which is what's important.
As for Balogun, our team has transpired to be founded on the Ryan-Duffy-Dunk central axis. We've now gone four games + 60 minutes without them playing together. It seems as though we won't see them back together again until the end of next month at the earliest.

I'd say watch the game back to realise just how much incoherent and false shit you come out with, but you're a hopeless case.
Here's a small breakdown;
3 of the best passes of them entire game came from Dale Stephens, 2 of them we should have scored from.
2 of Davy Propper's best passes of the game came as a result of Stephens winning us back possession.
5 out of 9 Arsenal corners were defended by Stephens.
Edit: And no, it was Lacazette's quick feet that got the assist, Stephens didn't touch it. You utter numpty.

Ryan 8(MotM) - For keeping us in the game and allowing us a platform to get a point which could have so easily been 3. Will be hard to hang onto him, two brilliant saves again.
Montoya 7 - One of his best games for us.
Duffy 7 - Good to have him back. Still seems to dare himself to head it as hard as he can with no thought of direction, but he's a blunt object I get it.
Balogun 6 - Has to take the brunt of responsibility for their goal, he had the critical moment to clear if you filter out the rest.
Bernardo 7 - Brilliant full back, but takes risks. Some might argue you won't get the former without the latter.
Stephens 8 - Stamped his authority on the game, brilliant defensively as per usual and played some delightful balls around the pitch.
Propper 8 - Got forward more than usual, probably down to how well his midfield partner was playing. Great vision (or 'punted clearance' if you believe modern media) for our goal. Should have hit the target with one of his good chances.
Gross 6 - Slowly improving, very frustrating at times when an early ball is on and he dwells on it.
March 6 - Does his work defensively but brushed off the ball so easily when up against decent fullbacks.
Locadia 7 - Played well, some great movement and runs. Glad he got the goal and hopefully kicks on.
Murray 6 - Should have done better with a couple of chances, an off-day.
Andone 6 - As energetic as we have come to expect, should have been quicker in passing to Solly in the dying seconds of the game on the byline. Made it himself though.

You have a habit of getting angry and nasty when people don’t agree with you. As I said to another, but far more respectful, poster, I’ll watch the Seagulls TV Highights and if I change my opinion I’ll let you know.
PS I’m not the only person to think people overrate Stephens.

You scored him a 4, I'm sure I don't need to tell you that this isn't normal behaviour. If the rest of your ratings were low then at least it would seem as if you just have a different barometer, but that's not the case is it? It is clear bias.
Most people wouldn't rate someone a 4 if they had cost us the game with a catastrophic error. As it turns out, he was one of our best players on the pitch last night and even your Stephens hating comrades are admitting as much, albeit relunctantly. Which makes it all the more petulant really.
You have it in for him, as do many others. Get a grip.
