To further annoy those who complain of too many music threads. Choose your DJ set from a music genre diluted to three songs. The first should be either a grower or an attention grabber that gets people onto the floor; the second should be a classic that loads of people into the genre would dance to or sing along with; the third should be your signature track, something you play that other DJs might not, an obscure album track, a novelty song or something different by a well known artist. At the end suggest a couple of other genres that others could try.
To start, my classic era Motown set:
1) Heat Wave - Martha Reeves & The Vandellas

2) This Old Heat Of Mine - The Isley Brothers

3) Every Little Bit Hurts - Brenda Holloway

Anyone want to try either
New Wave of British Heavy Metal, or
70s/80s UK Ska?
