I don't think the Russians have any thing to laugh about, as their Submarines tend to go down and stay down.

The Requisition Order for the bucket has just been approved and is on schedule to be scrutinised by the Procurement Committee in February.

Exactly. Trivial. Move on.

Albeit there was a discussion on the radio this morning that we may not be able to pay for the fighter planes that are designed to fly from it.

Then somone mentioned that the Brexit bill will be around 19 times the cost of the boat and planes.....

Then it all went a bit quiet.

What a funny old world.
Exactly. And the Brexit bill is a one-off payment, not something we'll have to shell out every year, and then we'll be free and we can spend our money how we wish. I think the truth is finally penetrating even the thickest and most wilfully-ignorant of Remainer skulls.

Oh dear, this may come as a bit of a blow...you and I and 98% of our population won't see a bean of any of that money "saved".

It is funny considering F35 #14 was handed over to us https://www.royalnavy.mod.uk/news-a...elivery-of-final-f-35b-lightning-of-this-year

Oh I'm under no illusions. Just as long as we're not handing over billions every year to that undemocratic, corrupt capitalist club I'll be happy.

Assume NBCD state 3, condition Yankee, that will take care of it and it will never sink. Just for good measure 'Hands out of rig of the day clear of the upper scupper' Gen buzz from the MCO!

I'm still waiting for the quadzillions of Pounds we were going to get from North Sea Oil. We were all going to be millionaires! .. I see your point, nicer that the money goes to our own undemocratic, corrupt capitalist government..

Stand down, it's been found and will be dealt with. As you were.

Worthing
Why can't we just celebrate the Engineering and skills that go in to building these things, instead of finding fault in absolutely everything.

Nothing that a few tubes of good quality silicon can’t cure. That’s what I use on dodgy gaskets on guttering. Pretty similar projects.
