He has just come back from injury to be fair

I never thought much of him before his injury.

Handful of seconds to go. The lilywhites really should have upped their goal difference today. Poor show.

But I'm not sure your implied logic of "Spurs being under par AFTER playing Real Madrid a few days before" means "Spurs will be under par BEFORE playing Man City" stacks up.
