Aren't they a very "eco" club as the chairman runs a solar power business? Thought I'd read they only serve vegan or veggie food.

Straight outta Felpham
Fire retardant materials, sprays etc have come on leaps and bounds and with fold no longer smoking at grounds I can see this working. Sounds brilliant to me, unique stadiums are getting harder and harder to come by.

I like the ethos of Forest Green, owned by Dale Vince, head of Ecotricty. The kind of people we need more of in this country

Very appropriate for a team based in the Forest of Dean. I believe the ground only serves vegan food.

5k makes sense in sustainability terms. What are their gates, around 1k?

Good luck to them.

Have they got rid of that Barca rip-off club badge they used to have?

I think the stadium looks great by the way, and credit to the chairman for sticking to his principles.

In true NSC tradition, did some more research after posting.

Team are on a vegan diet but it's only red meat that is banned from the ground. So presumably a chicken burger is on the menu.

Nailsworth where they are based has a population of 5,794, so 5k sounds ambitious!
