Will respect (and in an attempt to allay your fears), that's absolute bollards. Reading HAVE to win all 6 to get to 91 points. Draw 1 of those and it's 89. Their GD is awful and they're absolutely dogshit away from home. They have 4/6 games away and they are Norwich, Villa (in form), Forest (beat us and fighting for their lives) and Burton.
Chill, Reading are an irrelevance.
Now now if you two can't get on during our best season ever then it's probably best to stay away from one another

Too many writing Hudds off, they could easily beat Norwich tonight and be back in with a great chance, we have 2 away games coming up, one against a team that has won its last 5 games...
Sure Hudds need to put a great run together and hope we slip up a couple of times, but they have had and are capable of winning 5 or 6 on the bounce.

Exactly this, looked at fixtures last night and assumed Reading will win last 4 games. 12 points. If they can draw 2 of the other two or win one draw one. thats a very plausible 14 to 16 points more for them.
5 wins and a draw will put them on up to max 89 with a much worse G/D, we will need to win the last two homes and draw one of the 4 aways only to be sure to finish above them on G/D.
If they just win last 4 and lose the next two toughies, that just 85 with worse G/D we will easily pass that.
But thats why the next two games are absolutely pivotal. If we lose both ( and the lads are down) and Reading win them, it will be back to squeeky bum time as they will win their last 4 imo.
A week Saturday everything will be much clearer

It has a feeling that we are pretty much there. I can't see Huddersfield or Reading winning 8 and 6 games, which I think they would have to get close to doing to make us feel the pressure. However something says this still has a few more weeks to run. We have 2 tough away games to play, and Newcastle also have 2 tough games on paper in the next 2 as well. If either of us slip and one of the others wins 2 games in a row the gap won't look so healthy again.

Sure, but Hudds need to win 4 to match our current total. That leaves them with 4 games to go, and us 6. If we lose 2 games, it could be very tight again.
You might be right, not taking sides but there's obviously "history". Personally I would both of you in detention, for a significant period

This. Obviously. Some on this thread don't seem to have noticed that for most of our recent games the post-match reports, either on here, in the press or from the manager's own mouth, mention the team being 'not at our best'. Including the last two games, where we've ground out home wins. Away form is a completely different proposition, and IMHO we'll do well to pick up many points from the FOUR away games remaining. So, like you say, it ain't over. Far from it.

You wouldnt find Lewis Hamilton celebrating with 1 lap to go and a minute ahead of the field, nor would Mo Farah be running with his arms in the air in the last 100 even if 10 metres ahead etc etc.
Its very feasible we could lose the next two (not playing well and pretty pants away record), if results go our away its academic, if they dont, the celebrations today will give way to mass bed wetting. Saturday 15th at 5pm the picture will be much more sure or much less sure. Today its premature.
