Would rather play the gypo's and wipe that smug look off Pardew's face with a massive turd waiting for him in the dressing room.

I'd like to wipe that smug look of Pardews face and then, using aforementioned turd as a sort of "wax crayon" draw a frown on in it's place. I need help don't I?

I'd want them to go down because they've majorly got the upper hand on us in my 20 years of supporting the club. Rivalries are diluted by not being in the same division, but it also makes it clear which of the clubs is superior to the other. Would be pretty special to replace them in the PL.

As long as we are promoted I dont care what happens to Palace I dont class them as rivals any more than any other London club as to me our age old rivals are Portsmouth.

How many times do you reckon we've played Portsmouth in our 115 year history?

Go up and them come down and stay down.

On the one hand I would love to beat them in the Premier League, even better send them down, but equally when we are in the same division as them it becomes a bit obsessive.

To want to meet them in the Premier League would mean wanting them to win some games. I never want them to win a game.

They are due some time in our shadow and it would be so sweet for that to happen with us at the top table again.

Sadly, given the utter dross in the Premier League this season, Pardew would have to outdo himself to get Palace relegated so if we are able to get up this season, I fully expect them to be waiting for us.

I want to see them relegated and still playing in the ramshackle stadium with no plans passed for the refurbishment or a new stadium. After all the money they have had, leaving them nothing to show for it. And the yanks looking to sell.

Definitely us go up, them stay up...but then maybe we send them down the following season!

Totally agree with the point that there is absolutely no point in having rivals if you don't play them.

The rivalry between Palace and Brighton will never die, but it was on life support for a while after only being in the same division TWICE in 22 SEASONS until 2011.

The older fans kept it going, but the younger fans went off in various other directions at both clubs until they saw what it was all about in 2002-3, 2005-6, and then 2011-13.

Can't be arsed with the circus surrounding games against them and haven't been to Selhurst since the McShane game. I'd therefore like to see them relegated if we go up.

Much prefer London always at places like Charlton and Brentford where we can actually enjoy the day and care little for the rivalry now. I don't even think Selhurst is my most visited away ground any more.

Much as I'd like to see us play each other in the Prem my head says that if they don't get relegated soon then they're in danger of building strong foundations and acquiring a modern stadium with a proper capacity of 30,000+.
