Why all things move forward. We are no longer in an era where factory workers finish at lunchtime on a Saturday then make their way to the match. Surprised there isnt more flexible kick off times from clubs to fit in with modern livestyles. Yes moving games may cause problems but most can adapt and make a decision on attendance and make suitable arrangements.

Ok Paul Barber.

I will be gutted if the Derby game is messed around with (OK I can live with a noon kickoff) as it is the only game remaining this season that I we can make with any degree of certainty.

Evening games are not on for us (unless they fall in the school hols) and the only other Saturday 15:00 game is when we are on our Spring hols. in Scotland. In my dreams I see a Zamora hat trick at the Derby game powering us to automatic promotion, and in deference to all you diehards who make the effort to go to away games (me, bad fan, only 3 in 30+ years) the last game of the season confirming us as Champions.

I love a match on a Saturday at 3pm, but after the Brazil World Cup, football at 11pm was great, as was 1am! Also the Japan World Cup, football at 7am was also great! Only on TV, of course!

I don't mind the Friday night home games too much, it must be a pain in the arse for those that live far away and have planned a trip for a Saturday though!

It's not all about the home fans it's the away ones who suffer the most

It's called FL72. The idea is to show those 72 clubs throughout the season. Who won the Conference last season? Have they been on Sky? Have they balls! And don't give me the excuse that there isn't time. There's half a dozen international breaks throughout the season. Disrepectful to the lower league club's week in, week out who need the money and exposure more.

They haven't been on Sky probably because BT have the TV rights for the Conference

I believe Burnley has been designated a family day or something so IF it get gets moved itll be a lunchtime KO but still on Sat.

We come back from skiing on 2nd April, land at Gatwick at 10am, plenty of time to get family home and head back to the Amex for 3pm. It will be changed, I just know it, and probably to either Friday night or 12:45 on the Saturday.

It's one very sad refelection of the modern game

Its been a while now. Liverpool's fanzine reflecting how they never had Saturday 3pm matches; "When Sunday Comes" was launched in 1988 ( i think)

Where have you read this? I really want to take my children but if they move it I will have already bought plane tickets and won't make a Sunday or Friday night.

It IS still called 'the weekend' though, right? Or have the Tories now decreed There Is No Such Thing As The Weekend? OK, there will always be folks who need to work on a Saturday afternoon and can't make a 3pm kick-off, but I'm thinking they may still be in the minority. Moving large numbers of Saturday 3pm kick-offs is going to eventually have an impact on the number of ST and one-off tickets sold shirley? Hard enough to get back from London for a re-arranged Friday evening kick-off, even if the trains aren't playing up. For a ticket-holder who lives at the other end/side of the country it must be a complete pain in the arse, not to mention the pocket. Not much available in the way of compo for wasted bookings on transport and accommodation.

I hope that Derby isn't moved or if it is then it's to the Friday night.

My Dad is away that week and promised me his season ticket. I'll have moved house by then so won;t have the spare cash for the ticket as the Mrs will want to spend it on wall paper

@mrblobby said he thinks this is the case.

I think it's one of the games where, if you are a Young Seagull, you can get one child and one adult ticket for £15

Yes something like that so I think the day is "locked in" but not the KO time.
