My thoughts entirely -look what happened here, albeit with some crucial injuries to blunt our attack. It is also a local derby, so by no means certain that Burnley will win, though perhaps on balance, you would just about tip them to do so.

Not forgetting all the in form goal scoring high flyers we play have a little wobble afterwards. Reading, Shef Weds and Burnley being the most recent.

Things get under way tomorrow night with one of those new-fangled and crazy Thursday night fixtures.

Only Burnley, of the top five who have broken clear, have a fixture that they'll really fancy. An Albion win could see us 4 points clear.

Surely an Albion win COULD see us five points clear

We r 2/5 to beat Charlton..with them at 8/1...i quite like both teams to score 2nd half at 16/5

I'm going £20 on Charlton to win, as I did for Birmingham to win last week. Don't care about losing the £20 if it means we keep our unbeaten run going! If we lose, at least I will have s few quid to soften the blow !

Hopefully we'll see big home performances from Ipswich, Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday this week

If we've got any sort of lead come January, it'll be done, we'll only be increasing any gap from then onwards. No one will catch us (injuries permitting). Over optimistic? CH has done exactly this before and I can't see how he can be stopped doing it again.

A win for Massive Wednesday would certainly take some pressure off our trip to Derby.

More injuries, loss of form, Jan transfer market doesn't work out, CH poached, bad luck. Derby Imploded after Xamas last season. It can happen.

It's not unrealistic that we'll be going into January eight points ahead of Middlesbrough ( come on Ipswich!! ). It's not necessarily us that will fall away from the top 5.
