According to his Agent, they may accept the Brighton offer in two weeks time!

Apparently, Officials at Brighton have been calling Jahanbaksh even after he had rejected the offer. In an interview with a Iranian News agency, Alireza's agent has said that, we may change our mind and accept the offer IF Brighton build a strong team for this season. Seems like Alireza has changed his mind after visiting Iran (some reports say he spoke with Iran's manager Carlos Queiroz and asked for advice).

His Agent said, we rejected the Brighton offer because it came too early and we didn't want to rush things. However, People at the club are still in contact with us and have informed us that they are signing 'two EPL players'.
So, in two weeks time Alireza could be at BHAFC.

Shucks, he can't find a better offer so he might reconsider. Hope we tell him to do one if he does come back to us. Behaving like a superstar when he's actually done NOTHING.

So if you were in his position you'd take the first offer that came along even though there's 2 months of the transfer window remaining?

Hell I'd still take him! He could be the difference between going up or staying in mid table

Jahangakhsh recently said his biggest influence in football is Peter Ward. Massive clues he'll sign for us.

Here's the interview about Peter Ward being an influence:

I'd certainly not be as dismissive of an offer as he's been. To now be saying he'll reconsider if we get better players is also a bit strong for a player who hasn't done anything himself.

I'd rather not sign Aljazeera Jagsmash if it's all the same. If I were hunting id be wanting to sign players that were committed to the cause, not dickheads who want to mess us about. Let's move on, he's hardly messi

From a team that looks lovely, but was completely toilet last season, only just avoiding relegation.

Had he signed this time last year he'd now be unlikely to have a career in England.
I just don't see why anyone would get their knickers in a twist just because this fella's agent likes to be in the press.

His agent wants the very best deal possible.

If he, or someone of his ilk were to come here, they'll be doing it was more than half an eye on a move to the Premier League.
That in turn equals a win/win for the club.

Rubbish, will Texeira struggle to get a Championship team if offered? If this guy is the real McCoy, he'll shine. I'm starting to think he may not have the stomach for this tough league.

That maybe so, but he won't be starting any Premier League games, this season.
Which is a potential he certainly has, but only rarely seen partly because he was playing in such a bad team.

If he gets fit he could quite easily end up in a lower Premier League team imo, although wouldn't it be great if he was one of our unnamed targets this week?

It may be that, however don't forget that he can also stay with NEC where he will be in the Eredivisie and is loved by the fans. Alireza is now well known in Holland as a promising young player, many clubs are interested in him but, they are not willing to pay the amount that NEC is asking.

Also, in Iranian media there is a lot of talk about his agent (Amir Hashemi) being a 'dick' and looking to get the highest offer so he can have a good amount of the money too. Anyway, Alireza wants to be guaranteed when he comes to Brighton he will be playing alongside good players so that he can fight for promotion.
