It's a pity both sides are wearing the same coloured pyjamas :nono:

Shouldn't they have an 'away' kit so at least they look a bit different?

32-1 (4 overs)

8 runs scored from each over so far...

This is a definite change in mentality. Great to see. In the past we'd be trying to stay in, but already within 2 overs of the wicket, the batsmen have the bowlers having to defend a bit.

Leg spin is a bit of a risk, but I am glad to see a front line spinner in there, rather than trying to botch it with Ali.

Ali would be playing (probably instead of Billings) but England, quite rightly, are going to try and use the month for him to get some overs under his belt in county cricket before he gets taken apart by the Aussies.

We need a proper spinner to beat the Aussies, Ali would make a fantastic second spinner, Rashid or Billings should have been played already

Another goofy shot / 2 down

McCullum has set FOUR close fielders on the cut for Morgan + a slip and a third man

Morgan looks a lot better with a bit of batting time behind him and without the expectation of being pretty much the only attacking player.

Brave New World.
