Here's one for you then, just say, hypothetically like, that Gus and Tony B had a JR- Sue Ellen type reconciliation would we have Him back?as a collection of fans?

Erm...i wasn't taking sides ...just making an observation re the match report...i haven't got a problem with Poyet ...but as we have a manger right now its hard to deal with hypothetical hypotheticals

Understand you wasn't taking sides, just thought I'd put it out there see what folk thought(I know I quoted your post)as you say we have a manager and hopefully He's the man to keep us safe and kick on next year.

Yes, Gus has charisma in spades and would ooze charm with supporters from the start.

At the end of day, if Tony can patch it up with Gus, then that's good enough for me.

Sunderland have got an awful squad though and I may be wrong but it seems like Gus hasn't had much money to spend compared to most Premier League teams. For example the amounts they paid for Bridcutt and Buckley are small change for most clubs at that level so it's hardly surprising that they are out of their depth.

The comments he made about the referee are going to lead to a fine under a disrepute charge

Whatever anyone says, and however well he did for us, he is just a total nutjob who is always going to end up burning too many bridges. Sunderland fans hate him- he blamed the supporters and now he is even blaming the media, claiming the reason the supporters are singing for him to be sacked is because he has been misquoted.
Of course, lots of BHAFC supporters hold him in high esteem, but get real, he is a loon.

This is a guy who is now blaming supporters and the press for his teams performances, after declaring himself happy with his squad following the signing of Defoe. Only to leave Defoe out today!!

Given that the Poyet- Bloom split it such a big part of our history it is understandable that many people are interested and fascinated in how Poyet fares in his next role.

I've got to say history appears to be repeating itself in many ways.
