Landlord would be on to a winner if he ran a free coach to the Amex from the p9ub.

I tried that a pub for my darts pool and football team and was stopped by the local traffic office ( Eastbourne it was) following objections from other bus and coach operators saying I needed a PSV licence etc although I was doing it without charging. Their argument was that encouraging people to come to my pub to spend money was indirectly paying for the coach and any subsequent journeys.

It has to be in the worst position of a pub if you want an Albion pub unless you got a rope ladder you can hitch onto the viaduct and climb up to it or you can abseil down when the train is stopped at the signal on the way into Brighton.

It may be in between but I'd say 5 mins flat walk to London Road & 15+ UPHILL to Brighton station....

I wouldn't fancy walking up Springfield Road with a belly full of beer in 5 minutes.

beware of the 25 bus. With the Gyratory 'improvement' works traffic around there is a nightmare. On Argus currently one of the articles is about the 25 being suspended along Lewes road because it is taking 30 mins to get from Elm Grove to the bus depot.
