Ian Abrahams and Paul Camillin are friends.

Make of that what you want....

Been told by a mate (who supposedly has sources and is a Bristol City fan) that the fee for Baldock is about £4 million. We both agree that's a bit steep but they really didn't want to let him go.

IF this is true then I feel this is Ulloas replacement and just hope the lad can hit the ground running
£4m? That's seems like a lot, however I guess we're going for a more mobile attacking formation instead of hoping the ball sticks with an isolated target man.

Moose tweeted something the other day that was wrong.

All these stories are re-hashed versions of Argus / Sky one.

The 4 million is a rumour which keeps getting re-hashed.

God above I hope that's not true. 2mil tops! Otherwise we might as well just piss the Ulloa cash up a wall.

I suppose that would make a change from pissing it in bed.

these 3. Not bad. Sure i can understand Clayton, Ward but Is Baldock suppose to be Ulloa's replacement?. Underwhelming If true, hardly a statement of Intent really. I know you can't please all fans but the club need to give something the fans to shout about so to speak. Even after the sale of Barnes, Bridcutt and Ulloa we've not spent out anything really. I know the big FFP comes Into play but surely Bridcutt's and Ulloa's sale should have covered that. What about about the budget before these two was sold. Surely our hands can't be that tied behind out backs. Does anyone know when the finance reports will be released?. I would like to see It. Not that I have any knowledge on finance but It would take a rocket scientist to see where the money Is leaking. If BHAFC was a ship we would have sunk by now.

no grasp of finance; not seen the figures; and yet still, FWIW,
here's my opnion; on the morning of the FF:wozza:

This is worrying coming from you - you're usually so positive.

I think you are being pretty harsh on Baldock, West Ham had really high hopes for him until he got injured. He's recovered form and fitness at Bristol City. Though I will conceede that £4m seems a little steep. I'd be very suprised if we paid that much.

I agree with all of this, plus we already have a target man in COG, I honestly think he is Ulloa's replacement, lets face it hes much more like Ulloa than Barnes, but that doesn't mean he will be our only attacking option. We may well end up playing two or even three strikers at times, if we have enough strikers, last season this wasn't an option, obviously.

If it is £4M for Baldock, and I doubt it is, but that would mean we have sold a striker who scored 15 goals last season, and brought in two who scored 40 between them for around half the money, good business in my opinion.

Go on then, do the decent thing, spill the beans.

The implication is that Abrahams has an in to Tony Bloom on the jewish old boys' network.

He doesn't. He is feeding off Naylor's twitter account.... which makes a change from feeding off Piglets Pantry pies.

It's already been established that Paul Camillin & Moose are friends, so he isn't just feeding off Naylor's twitter account.

4 mill if true could be the total amount including add ons etc, like if he scores 20 goals, if we get to the Premier League etc

Considering our supposed opening bid was £300k I would be somewhat surprised if we had increased our bid 13 times over to 4 million. No player with 1 year left on their contract is worth 4 million so for that reason this rumoured bid level is rubbish.

I dont think its true but 4 million isnt to bad if he gets 20 + which I think he could.

Problem is 4 million comes with expectancy and you can imagine if he hasnt got 4 or 5 by September he will be the new fans boo boy
