The thing is, with all of those there were genuine weak points but these were all overshadowed by them DOING THEIR JOB

Ulloa - One paced, terribly weak, whines a lot but SCORES LOTS OF GOALS
Kuszczak - Abysmal distribution, poor concentration for last few months, seemed to hate Bruno but SAVES GOALS & WON US POINTS
Upson - Slow, a little ponderous but a BORN DEFENDER & LEADER
Bridcutt - Actively refused to shoot after we got promoted, never passed forward, too small but AWESOME FOOTBALLER

Sorry for the CAPS.

Dude, how can you save a goal?

I'm of completely the opposite opinion to somerset. We could get by for a few games with CMS / COG/ Fenelon / Lua Lua / Buckley as attacking options. No way I'd want to start the season with Casper in goal. The bloke terrifies me.

Me too, sorry Coco, l mean Casper, nothing personal.

I'd rather have a keeper than a striker. I think Casper's decent but a good keeper can help the defence stay solid and give us some confidence. We've got two decent strikers and the youngster who's scoring goals in pre-season so I don't think there's as much of a rush for a striker.

I think the total opposite.

Walton is good enough to cover for the August games, but I think our striker selection is missing a 1 in 2 game goalscorer, and we could do with one asap.

If we hadn't sold Leo then we'd be ok now, and clearly we haven't had much time since Leo left.

If you have a fragile defence you need more fire power . If you have less prolific strikers then defence needs to be water tight . We need both so doesn't matter which one we got first . If was a choice I reckon we can get away with our strikers for a few games . We couldn't with ankergen and Walton no one knows ! Nonsense argument really . Hopefully 1 essential position filled . Lb and striker to fill .

REALLY ???

Were you at forest away season before last or numerous other games where his mistakes were so bad?

He is so bad we only won the League 1 title and finished solidly mid-table in the last two seasons he was first choice. He made the odd mistake, as did Kuzcack, as do all keepers, I don't think he made enough to change my opinion of him a being a decent keeper. I do know that lots of people around seem to hate him for punching crosses despite the fact 90% of keepers do exactly the same as him

This ^. He's an excellent no2 at this level imo - even with him as a no1 we came 10th. His shot stopping is as good as anyone and he's very comfortable with the ball at his feet - it's just coming for crosses he isn't great at. I have no problem whatsoever with him being here for another year before Walton inevitably steps up as the official no2.

Has anyone done a joke about Stockdale not being available for the Sheffield Wednesday match because his wife won't let him?

Oh.
