Song update:

Who's that man from Argentina
Who's that man we've shown the door
Leonardo is his name
But he's gone and that's a shame
So lets get Murray back to score

Anticipating a $hit-load of flak but this cause is worth it.

Dear Burke/Barber/Bloom,
Please bring Glenn Murray back.
Make sure to give him a good clean first.
I expect to see him in a BHA shirt within 14 days.
Many Thanks,

SP

I always rated Murray and was sad to see him go. Why on earth would he want to return to us though when so many on here have slagged him off and he got a bad reaction from the crowd? Also it would pain me to pay CP £1.5 million for him when he went from us on a free.:wozza:

Can't see it happening.
He signed a new contract at the end of our promotion season, for 3 years and a salary increase to £20 k.
With an injury free pre season, I'm sure given the chance, he will score goals.
If he's not playing, I'm sure there's a possibility he could go out on loan, with you being the obvious place.
Will TB pay his wages ? Can't see it , and I wouldn't think we would let him go out on loan to our rival .

I don't know about that - a number of players have gone on loan between the clubs in the past - if we were in the same league then i'd agree but as there's a division apart then it may work out....assuming both the club and Glenn are happy playing lower down the ladder.

Sound like a pining ex girlfriend. He's gone. Move on and forget about him.

Anyone that wouldn't want Murray back is naive.

He never wanted to leave us in the first place (fact) he still has a lot of friends within the club (fact) and he still lives locally.

Throw in to the mix the respect he showed when scoring against us for them, suggests to me he holds this club in high esteem.

Make it happen Tony, I for one would be delighted to have him back here
