Can't believe how many people fall for this.
Brian is the creators favorite character and 33% of the reason FG is on our TV's today. This whole thing has been an attempt to provoke a reaction.
I guarantee the numbers will be up over the next 6 episodes, that was the plan.

Probably this is the truth, another attention seeking stunt by the most overrated thing on television.

Even though you were only a cartoon dog, may flights of angles sing you to your rest.
God bless and goodnight sweet prince, you were truely a t.v legend.

I find family guy very humorous so obviously I'd say you're wrong in saying it's over rated and so would most people I know. But comedy is subjective especially animated comedy.
Disclaimer:-
By the way, the thread in itself was deliberately over dramatic and was in no way meant to be a serious book of condolence for a cartoon dog who may or may not return later in the series :)

With it coming up to xmas this thread has just triggered my memory of one of the best family guy scenes.

The one where Stewie and Brian do "Santa's" job, get caught by a dad who they proceed to then murder in front of the on-watching child before wrecking the house to fake a burglary.

Well, I laughed anyway.

The only thing worth watching on that show was the dialogue between Brian & Stewie.
:wozza: Family Guy.

Wouldn't say it was the only part of the show worth watching, but it was certainly usually the highlight.

"How you uh, how you comin' on that novel you're working on? Huh? Got a a big, uh, big stack of papers there? Got a, got a nice little story you're working on there? Your big novel you've been working on for three years? Huh? Got a, got a compelling protagonist? Yeah? Got a obstacle for him to overcome? Huh? Got a story brewing there? Working on, working on that for quite some time? Huh? Yeah, talking about that three years ago. Been working on that the whole time? Nice little narrative? Beginning, middle, and end? Some friends become enemies, some enemies become friends? At the end your main character is richer from the experience? Yeah? Yeah? No, no, you deserve some time off."

Brilliant, can't read that without hearing stewie's squeaky upward inflection at the end of every sentence :-D

As the announcement is from, Brian the reports of his demise appear to be premature. ( Quahog, come taste our clam.) Fnrr Fnrr.
Only just under four hours to wait! Bit early in the morning in Quahog?
