Whoever it ends up being I, for one, can't wait to see the Palace board try and claim that they took a long time to make sure they got the right man, indeed got their favoured man and somehow try and avoid owning up that the whole process has been a complete farce and chosen one after chosen one chose not to come.

"It's been a difficult process, but <lastresort> was always our first choice"

They are a clown club - no way around it. Had it all in their own hands and blew it & turned themselves into a National laughing stock.

Owners, Fans, Ground - total :wanker::ffsparr:

Someone's probably said this already, but I find it interesting to contrast BHA and CPFC in their moments of crisis:

BHA - Unprecedented sacking of extremely successful manager (and backroom staff) for gross misconduct. Club at the centre of massive media interest, and acute anxiety from fans. Club operates quietly, professionally, and appoints manager with significant pedigree with minimum of fuss.

CPFC - Apparently taken completely unawares by departure of Holloway (after he spent an absolute fortune on non-entities). Thrashing around searching for a replacement, and being rejected by a number of out of work managers, some of whom seem to prefer to manage in lower divisions rather than risk the poisoned chalice....

Interesting....

Palace fan with name eagleseatseagulls and 500-odd posts to his name on Brighton forum accuses Brighton fans of being pre-occupied with rival.

Yup.

Alright Columbo i've made 500 posts on here since 2005. What can I say, loarding it over you lot has been pretty easy the last eight years or so.

Or indeed since you've actually been good enough to play at our level.

Perhaps at the weekend we will see white smoke rising from Selhurst to signify a new appointment

or more likely

black smoke rising from Croydon Carpet Warehouse as the pikeys go on the loot again :D

CPFC (NOT PLR) what a complete an utter laughing stock:clap:

Great stuff

whoever takres them on is still going to be stuck with the same overpriced lacklustre playes with (I understand) serious question marks over their lives off the pitch. The team have some goodtalent ( Murray, Jedinak and Bolansie are all solid) and players like Williams and Chamakh have got potential.facts are facts though, none of them are good enough to keep qt he Jestermen up.

They might try and Pry Phil Brown off Southend I suppose. He has the Palace permanent tan already at least.
