Great player have said this in another thread. Of course one performance doesn't make him class but I'm confident he'll grow to be an asset. Any thoughts Bens Grandad?

I'd be disappointed not to see him Start Saturday.

MOM for me tonight by a long way,

Well he was playing the Bridcutt role so I'd give him a 2% chance of starting Saturday.

Yes very good. Though concerning how tired he looked. Surely not unfit having had a whole pre seasons and being only 19 or 20?!!

I loved the way he WANTED everything in the air. No thought for his, or anyone else's safety, he was crashing into anyone necessary to get to the ball. And has some technical class too. Great player in the making.

I thought that he did quite well a lot better than I expected not MOM by any stretch of the imagination but also nowhere near the worst player tonight. He had some very good moments and some awful moments as well but overall was reasonable.

Ince did very well, was also pleased with Maximenko when he came on. Whether Maxi can cope with Derby on Saturday is up for debate.

Sorry? Why aren't they match fit considering the season has started? Surely that's the point of pre season friendlies? Should be comfortably lasting 90 mins by now if they've done a complete pre season.

All the players look to be 3 weeks behind where they should be and are doing now what they should have been doing in pre season friendlies. This can only be down to the dithering by the top men in appointing OG having made the decision to sack Gus they should have had the courage of their conviction and carried it out and appointed a head coach immediately not dithered about with an investigation which took much too long. We are now suffering because of this indecisiveness

ince has all the natural ingredients to be a pretty good player. He's strong, fairly quick, has a decent touch and can pass. Seems comfortable enough with the ball to run at defences which is something we haven't seen in an albion midfielder for god knows how long

Thats a glowing endorsement coming from you, considering your pre-match comments.

A couple of his runs reminded me of Yaya Toure. He looks a prospect.

This is exactly what I said to my brother afterwards. Really liked the look of Ince last night. Also believed Maksi did a pretty good job when he came on, and I thought Jake was really good in the second half after a pretty anonymous first - his delivery from set pieces was generally very good imo

2 bad passes the time he was on the pitch (boredom made me do it). One of those could be attributed to Greer, stitching him up. I'm not sure there were many if any better last night. Who was your MoM?

I think this is quite fair.....

Remember that Bridcutt needed quite a few games to get up to speed when he was brought in as cover for a badly injured Navarro. Continually amazes me how many Brighton fans don't give players a few games before forming judgements.

Although the comments on this thread seem mostly very complimentary.
