So season tickets are now on general sale? I was on the movers list and assumed someone would get in contact with me before they went on general sale so that I could choose myself a new seat - but I have heard nothing.

I also requested to move but had not heard from them, called them yesterday and they did it over the phone, very painless!!

JCL's who don't have a season ticket now are in the same group as every one else who does not have a season ticket.

On our first year at the Amex, those of us who were a STH at Withdean got first dibs. That was right, but that time has past now. Not sure what the argument is.

My argument was simply that I think it would be a good move for the club to encourage an uptake of ST's to announce the closure of the free DD window before we start off in the play offs.

What exactly is the point of the club doing that? What does it prove? It doesn't matter too much whether someone buys a season ticket now or a day before the start of the season, the price is the same. If they buy at the start of the next season they will have to pay a lump sum to catch up with DDs they missed since 1st May (or is it 1st of April, I'm not sure). If they buy one today, at the annual price, I presume that doesnt' include a seat at the wolves game although presumably they have the right to buy their seat for a play-off game. Equally, I assume that any points for the season ticket don't count towards entitlement for away leg game.

So why exactly do you want to make a point of people buying a season ticket sooner rather than later. I assume you have yours so why worry about others? The best encouragement for an uptake in season tickets would be to win the play-offs.

Back in the day when I used to plague the Palace BBS, they started with "You'll never get it built" then it was "Well you'll never fill it" Then it was "With all those plastic fans the sales will plummet in your second season". I wonder what they are saying now.
"BACK IN THE DAY" ............. go on doug give em some shit

JCL'S? What on earth are you on about? It sounds to me you would like every JCL, (as you call them) that didn't attend Gillingham and the Withdean go on bended knees before the REAL fans whilst they entered The Stadium. I've been a supporter since the late 50's don't preach to me and others about JCL's

You need to clarify whether you are being called a NSC JCL or an Albion JCL as it seems remarkably important to some on here.

Indeed. If there is one term on NSC that should be banned it's JCL. All it is is divisive. I wish it was one of Google advertising's taboo words.

I never owned a season ticket until this week. I'm hardly a JCL, I've been to 65 grounds with the club. It's just that now is the first time since I left home that I could afford one, and justify it (I follow Harlequins Rugby Club too, but am sharing that season ticket next season).

You will notice this post is a reply to someone elses. That posted used the phrase 'JCL' and I addressed it in my reply.

If we make the Premiership anyone not renewing season tickets must be mad they could make a huge profit selling tickets on a match by match basis and Make a nice little profit. Don't tell PB :wrong::fishing:

Don't tell me, tell those gimps on BBS. They've convinced themselves that BHA is under impending financial ruin.

Excellent. Will make their inevitable disappointment that it didn't happen even more enjoyable-they really are a bunch of ill informed ignoramuses.

Latest figure is 517.

Where do you get your info?

Does anyone know how many ST's will be available and how many will be kept back for match by match sales?

We know the southerly most block in the East will be match by match (and student discounts for low grade games) but is the plan to sell all the others, if we can?

It used to be amusing, now its just tedious. Same old threads, same old arguments, same old bollocks. The bitterness on there is almost suffocating. I just peruse it now and then now, to wallow in their angst and horror at what Wurzel has done to them. That is MOST enjoyable.
