How about having only one league team in Sussex for the majority of your history? Like Selhurst The Goldstone capacity wasn't reached that often was it?
Fact remains we've had a much higher average over the years than Bha Pre Amex anyway, but once the free train tickets stop and the bubble bursts it will drop back down again.

if bolton do get in,and we play, whats our likely tik allowance??

Just highlighting Major's obsession with our attendances and showing the huge historic difference between our clubs.

There isnt a single post on other teams attendances on our boards, but an abundance on Nsc especially Palace's.

I wonder why ? Could be that your embarrassed about attendances?

As I have proved to you time and time again, since the last 60 years put both Clubs in the same division and we have superior attendances than you - live with it.

BTW - don't worry about the playoffs because you wouldn't be in them.:tosser:

Unfortunately for you that hasn't happened too often !
I see we've got a bigger away attendance then you so far this season, would you like to comment on that ?

Clearly neither do you.

51,700 v Burnley last game in 1978/79. 4,005 v Wimbledon in 1984. How's that for starters?

29th season the Clubs have shared a division - nearly half. Unfortunately most of your fans only view history from when you re-form after administration , which is about every 10 years. You can pick out individual seasons when either Club slightly averages more than the other but overall we average more - even including the Withdean seasons and despite us having a much smaller catchment area of population to draw upon. The gap is growing ever larger and I can guarantee that we would have a bigger average attendance than you next season even if we remain in the Championship and you fluke your way into the Prem. Plus your home figures are bolstered much more than ours by visiting fans.

Re away attendances this seasons - seasons not over yet - your Club also has a tendency to round up poor away figures or just throw in a random figure based on guess work (how many Palace went to Blackpool - reports differ from 500 -900). Also you are forgetting that on average each away game is a 100 miles nearer to you than us. The fact that for most of the season you have been in an automatic or play off position and you struggle to get over 1,000 outside London confirms that your away support is poor.

Shite or bust for you over the next month ! :)

Yep, and I was at both of them !
I'm not trolling , I'm just countering the argument that lots of you say you couldn't get in at the Withdean, when actually you could have brought a season ticket.
Historically we are similarly supported clubs, and if we had the benefit of a shiny new 30,000 stadium, we would fill it like you do.
Anyway, I'm sure the run in will have lots of strange results , hopefully starting with you tomorrow !

I had a season ticket at Withdean. And Gillingham. Your point being?
